Awaited this. Good that I didn't buy NHL 21. Some hours at the Trial and I knew it isn't worth for me. I do not expect that any new faces will come at the next updates. Finally Franchise is done for them. The only work for them is to produce massive Hut cards.

Do you really think with all of these COVID cases they are going to get players to come to a studio for a face scan? Maybe there is technology to scan via a camera or zoom or something but I would think the pandemic has something to do with what they are able to accomplish in this area.

I just wished they gave us the ability to edit faces for those who don’t have their face scanned

Many would be happy when they added all what they have scanned in past. Second, a good art designer can model Faces from a picture 😋

Me too, cause many generic looking terrible and far from real. The Community can do this much better.

They don't need to scan the players,this has been said many times.Look at the alumni players who look excellent.Many player have passed so they just used a photo to make their face.

I don't know how it works.. if it just takes scanning in a picture into their rendering software then I'm with you on why they haven't done it for the many that are missing.

The players should send out tweets like some of the NFL players did for Madden, maybe they would finally listen.

All real Players need to have their Pics not black Silhouettes. No other important Sport Game is so lazy and doing this.

The proof they don't have to scan the players is that they actually added more alumni player faces this year than current players. Shouldn't be that way.

I totally agree it's sad that EA is very lazy when it comes to player likeness. But the gameplay in 21 is far superior to 20, which is the most important point. I could never go back to 20, this game stinks compared to 21.
