We have to stop overcomplicating layups (MyPlayer big man)

    92 rated
    7'2
    Close shot: 92
    Coverage: Wide Open
    Timing/Aiming Off

Just as a bonus, I have Rise Up on HOF. Putback King on silver.

This is in Park obviously, but the issue lies beyond park and has been happening for years.

We have fadeaway 3's going in, posterizers over 2+ people. Cool. Can we PLEASE have bigs finish these types of layups? This goes beyond "NBA players miss layups"

Bigs already feel like a dying breed. This just makes us look useless.

Why you going up so soft there?

    But no, I agree.

They really hate bigs getting easy shots. Half court 3's no problem but a 7 footer hitting a standing layup? Nope.

I'm telling ya during a mocap session years ago Shaq probably ate Mike Wangs lunch. Next gen is here and the bigs are still being punished for it.

Yeah I remember I had a thread a couple years ago where I posted about 25 videos of me missing bunnies. It’s either you miss a wide open one or somehow the guy on the other side of the hoop or behind you “contests” you and you blow it. I probably go back up with offensive boards 1 out of 10 times and usually regret it.

Haha I like the theory that Shaq just punked Mike Wang so bad he holds the grudge forever forward -- since that's what Shaq does too

I agree, they definitely need to fix this, especially with a player like yours with 92 layup.
I wish that was it man...maybe it would fall under some kind of logic even if flawed, but my standing dunk is a 95, lol

Some players are just soft, it's in their DNA.

I wish I understood how ordering dunk packages worked.

I never feel like I can trigger the exact dunk I want. Perhaps I need to drop to using only 1 or 2 packages instead of the 4/5 I try to incorporate into my game.

I was helping my dude who just got the gm build a guy on Cg and he was like what should I put in driving lay up as a big. I was telling him not to put anything. I mean this is pie chart days but really I don't think that Stat matters much at all. Nor does it really give badges.

He drove and missed a lay up and he's like thx guys for telling me lay up doesn't matter. But it's like tbh man u would have missed that w a 90.

Intimidator badge needs to be removed from the game.

Not sure if they did on ng but that and how contests that aren't contests happen matters so much. True people miss lay ups but in games to 21 its basically imbalance to have people roll a missed lay up because "sim."

Nah man, that was bad advice, especially for CG, lol

A quick take with my glass cleaner is my go-to. This is moreso standing lay ups.

Hmm I got multi builds w min. Min /blue but still. Never had a problem. It's a bunch of pts u can put else where and get more badges and points you're gonna lose as you increase your height. It's like dribbling. Close shot Def matters. Dunk matters. But lay ups are suspect. Mine is 50 but I got badges.

It's kinda like getting 75 in 3 point. It's cool to hit em but you're gonna be broke enough that it's not really worth the points. Unless u got left overs and are going only for badges. I Def think lay up matters for smalls n dudes who can do that slither reverse tho.

But getting 70 on your stretch haha. I dono. I think it's a trap. Just like getting 70 is in shooting.

Obviously its insane 2k made you miss that.

2klogic: 30 foot, 30percent contested threes are perfectly good to green (auto make)

but a 30 percent contested standing layup with a defender standing directly under the rim is perfectly reasonable to miss consecutively.

                              Amazing
