PS5: Looking for an active and established league? Come and join the MyNBA 2K League! Formerly known as the MyLeague Basketball Association, we had to re-brand due to MyLeague switching into what is now known as MyNBA on next-gen. We are looking for new users who enjoy sim basketball due to some of our core guys not having the PS5 yet.

We run what is called a “sim” league, a slower pace and more realistic basketball with rules.

-Currently in Season 2

-Fantasy Drafted Rosters

-We use real custom-edited draft classes (Cade Cunningham, Chet Holmgren, etc.)

-On-ball defense (no zone)

-Fast break rules

-Playbook REQUIRED. Must run plays on offense for at least 50% of possessions

-Spamming rules (requires users to mix up their playstyle)

We just re-drafted using Tynoles14 roster and sliders (with some edits and adjustments)!

Hi, I’m looking for some advice. I would like to purchase a new gaming console. I am only interested in NBA simulation games (for the most part), and am only interested in online franchise mode (or MyNBA or whatever they want to call it).

So.. what gaming platform should I buy? Keep in mind that while I’d love something that has the best gameplay, I am most interested in a platform that will best sustain online franchise/MyNBA mode gaming. Seems like there have been a TON of issues with that, so what console will I have the most success with? My biggest concern is all the reports of bugs with online franchise mode. (progression/regression problems, not being able to make trades, all kinds of settings being reset, etc)

I am up for purchasing the newest platforms, but I’m fine with an older platform if it has fewer online bugs. I have an xbox360 and have been playing the heck out of NBA2k18, which is the last version they gave us. It no longer has online gaming available. If it did I’d be fine with using this older console.

As an aside I will be looking to join a league as soon as I get the console, if folks know of a league or have suggestions on how to find one I’d appreciate it. I just broke my foot so have plenty of time the next month… however otherwise I’m a nurse, work 15 hour shifts and my workdays are different every week. So I may have to occasionally simulate games (or let my 11 year old nephew play and probably get toasted if that’s allowed), I know that may be a deal breaker in some leagues.
