Looking for some help with emulation.

So I have downloaded a few great tecmo roms (Blueman) & (Tecmomonster).

I am using a Fire Tablet, the only emulator I can get running is Nesoid unfortunately.

The problem is that the controller I have connected will not map diagonal directions, which is pretty big problem in tecmo.

I am using a Game Gen S3 controller, I'm wondering if I need to try a different controller maybe 8bitdo or if the problem is the emulator. Any help would be appreciated.
