Re: Upcoming Games

Publisher Nacon and developer Cyanide have released a new gameplay video today for their upcoming game Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. The video runs for around seven minutes and gives players their first look at the gameplay in the upcoming action RPG. The game is due out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on February 4, 2021 and pre-orders are live now at retailers and digitally. Check that trailer out below. The biggest challenge for Cyanide was implementing all the mechanics for an action RPG: designing the combat systems, balancing the effects, working on different types of animations, and more… When the main character, Cahal, shifts to his Crinos form, players must feel like a bestial predator. Thus, a “stance” system was implemented so players can switch between agility and ferocity according to the situation. The team went to considerable effort to create a visceral beat’em up game while staying faithful to the original tabletop roleplaying game. In Werewolf: The Apocalypse, the Garou are warriors of Gaia, the Mother Earth, and are fighting to save the planet from the Wyrm’s corruption. This aspect of the game is visible when the players explore environments like an overexploited forest, an arid desert or an offshore oil rig. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is the first action-RPG game adapted from the eponymous horror franchise. Mature, brutal, and complex, it invites the player to embody Cahal throughout his quest of bloody redemption. He’ll play an essential role in the great war led by the Garou against Endron, a global corporation whose activities are devastating the natural world.

Re: Upcoming Games
Released just recently for PS4/PS5, it's a FTP game that features cross-gen play for you to play with on either PS5 or PS4. Like to know from Xbox players that had this original launch release last year their thoughts on the game. Likewise, with Nintendo Switch players.

Nuclear war has left Europe devastated. All that remains is a tiny slice of post-apocalyptic Norway. The result? Outlanders fighting each other for valuable resources to build their Shelters. You’ll need to venture out into Encounters to improve your safe haven. But be careful! These Encounters are dangerous!
Roam the devastated countryside for resources while keeping your distance. Or head into battle with your guns a-blazing. The choices – and risks – are yours. Whatever you do, don’t forget you need to leave the map alive if you want to keep your loot. And if you start to feel that the stakes are getting too high, head for the exits as quickly as you can.
Outlive the apocalypse, Vigor is a free-to-play looter shooter in post-war Norway.Comment

Re: Upcoming Games
I saw that trailer on YouTube a couple days ago. Looks fantastic. But people in the YouTube comments sure were openly questioning the developer's ability to pull it off. We'll have to wait and see.Comment

Re: Upcoming Games
coming from PUBG, I played VIGOR and thought it 'felt' terrible overall. It didn't look horrible and didn't play as bad as DAYZ, but it didn't have enough skill and feel in terms of gunplay mechanics for me to keep on the hard drive.Released just recently for PS4/PS5, it's a FTP game that features cross-gen play for you to play with on either PS5 or PS4. The caveat is that it was earlier on and I'm sure it went though a number of updates - although I stopped following the game so I'm not sure if the concentrated on tightening the gunplay up at all.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Just to clarify, it's Machine Games that's developing the game with Todd Howard basically overseeing the project. Very hyped for this!!!
Also, as posted above, Ubisoft Massive is currently hiring for a new Star Wars game. EA also has a few Star Wars games as well.
Wish one of them would bring back Star Wars 1313.
This generation is going to be freaking amazing!!!Comment

Re: Upcoming Games
I'm TERRIBLE at the Hitman games, but I'm in the middle of the Patient Zero DLC in Hitman 1, and I've got the gold edition of Hitman 2 loaded and ready to go when I finish.
Matter of fact, I finished the second chapter of Patient Zero in 17 minutes, I was quite shocked.Boston Red Sox
