    Drafting a QB

    Hey Guys-

I have a mid round 1 pick in my connected franchise

After scouting all the QB’s, here are the 4 with 1st round grades after full scouting

QB choice 1, Draft projection Round 1, after scouting late 1, Improviser

QB choice 2, Draft projection Round 1, after scouting late 1, Scrambler

QB choice 3, Draft projection Round 1, after scouting mid 1, Strong Arm

QB choice 4, Draft projection Round 3, after scouting early 1, Field General

Who do you guys think would be the best? With the best dev trait? Have to be choice 4 right? After scouting he’s an early 1, that has to be the pick right ?

Potentially.. but there are other factors that I would look at, including what the three skills are (I personally put a premium on A+ throw power, for instance). How young are they? A 21 year-old is going to progress considerably faster than a 24 year-old. Did any have a good story? That can indicate hidden dev traits.

The early first denomination means that guy will most likely be rated best initially, but that doesn't mean he's the best upside prospect.

      Update

QB Choice 4, the kid with a 3rd round grade but early 1 after scouting?

He has a story during pro bowl week about him lighting up the all star game

      This is the pick lol

Trade down to the end of 1st round if you are commited to him, and you can add a solid additional pick either this year or the next as a result.

Your guy will 99% still be there by the time you're on the clock.

This is the move, in real life too. If everyone thinks the player is a 3rd rounder, but you feel like you have a secret advantage, move back, gain picks, still get your guy and make your team better overall. Get a 2nd or 3rd rounder to bolster your depth

Gotta take him now. Let us know how it turns out!

Is this a league with other real life dudes? If so, I would take him much earlier. Everyone will have scouted him so they'll know he is a beast. If it's just CPU then you should be fine grabbing him late 1st round.

If it's just CPU I'd bet he'll still be there in the 2nd.
