MSU Moves to 2-0
Michigan State moved to 2 and 0 on the young season after a 24-16 win versus Buffalo. MSU found the endzone first, late in the first quarter thanks to an 8yd catch from T. Mosley. they were able to extend the lead to 14-0 late in the first half, this time with a 1yd TD run from E. Collins. Before the half the bulls were able to scramble together a quick scoring drive to cut the deficit in half heading into the locker room. Buffalo managed a pair of field goals in the third quarter however MSU found paydirt once again on the arm on R. Lombardi from 23 out to make the score 21 to 13 heading into the 4th quarter. Both teams added one last field goal apeice in the 4th quarter taking this to a 24-16 final score. Next up for your MSU Spartans is a trip to South Bend to face the #6 Norte Dame Fighting Irish.
