    NFL Head Coach 09 alternative?

    Hello everyone. Sorry if I am bringing up a common question but I have been racking my brain trying to figure out the right PC football simulation that fits what I am looking. Heck...it might not even exist.

    I was a HUGE NFL Head Coach 09 fan but I no longer have a PS3 so I am unable to fire up the old game to satisfy my urge. I have went online but its so hard to find anything comparable to that game...

    Parameters I've had in my head...
    - Primarily GM mode. Calling plays is a perk.
    - Mods allowed in order to port current NFL team, player, & salary info
    - Text is fine but prefer some sort of game sim. Even 2D or dots is fine.

    I've checked the following...
    - Maximum Football 2020 - roster data can't be imported
    - Pro Strategy Football 2020 - no salary cap option
    - Football Mogul 2020 - not sure if rosters can be updated going forward & all text
    - DDS: Pro Football 2021 - solid but the salary data with the mod I found was all over the map

    Sadly, I just don't know what other options are & its hard to find some of the info I am looking for.

    Sorry for the wall of text but does anyone have any recommendations on games I should try?

      You missed probably your best option - Front Office Football 8. UI is nothing to write home about. But its a very realistic and immersive option.

                      If you have a good laptop you could emulate it on an Xbox emulator. The ps3 emulator has made progress but can't quite run it yet, join the subreddit for HC and scroll down to find a post for the 360 ROM.

                      NFL Head Coach 09 had a "Play Steal" feature.

                      CPU teams stole your successful plays in your playbook and added them to their playbooks. That feature met with college playbooks from incoming college coaches and user created plays birthed a new meta evolution for playcallers across the NFL.
