I want to see expanded rosters. no injury disabled list limits put as many on there as you want. make roster editing and moving players easier then the nightmare it is now.

they have to completely change the way rosters look at work for it to be worth it. If I see it's just the same boring 90 man rosters again with 12 A guys just sitting and the stupid way you have to move players around to fix rosters. there they have taken a step back completely and it wouldn't be worth losing the feature.

More realistic pitching staff tendencies from the AI controlled teams.

Especially in the playoffs.

Would love it if the CPU manager decided to pitch his stud ace on three days rest throughout the postseason. Or maybe take the Ray's approach and go with some wonky six-man entire staff takes a turn approach.

Stuff like that would be cool. Having the starts based on days between starts instead of cycling through the rotation on a clock.

yes 6 man rotations would be great! it's a real pain to do manually right now.

I really liked continuing saves from yr to yr but what I would like to know is could be put back in hopefully in a title update? The big thing would like to see that they would put in yearly schedules.

expanded minors, playable full single high and low a, 15 man rookie league squad non-playable. editable coaches and managers, twice as many existing umps, major league to minor league options editable, 25 round drafts. yeah, I don't want much. just everything lol

As I've said before in other threads discussing this topic, for me, it begins and ends with expanded rosters. I'm hoping we get 26 thru all 4 levels (MLB, AAA, AA, Single A) as well as some "placeholder" roster spots. I'm hopeful for 120 spots which would be the 26 at each level plus then 16 placeholder spots.

IMO, nothing else in franchise that adds to the depth, roster management, free agency, drafting, international signing period (if they added it), trades, finances can fully be expanded upon until the roster size is large enough to handle such improvements. Think about right now, how many good players are free agents after the end of a season simply because the CPU tries to balance its roster for stars, prospects, journeymen, and roster fillers.

If we don't hear of expanded rosters as an improvement to franchise mode in '21, then I truly don't foresee myself ending my current franchise in '20 and playing '21, I really don't. Because I don't believe that the other improvements to the game will be worth starting over, because I feel that you'll just be starting over to get to the same point, eventually.

I would think it’s a little late in the development cycle to take requests, or “add” things to offset the loss of carry over saves. No?

I’d rather they be up front and just tell us what else has been taken out. If nothing, then great.

Honestly? I would like to see everything that has been mentioned added to franchise mode.

BUT.....

I just don't care. Unless we can carry over at least Rosters. The removal of Carry over saves is a game killer for me. I know I lot of you don't get it or think I am crazy. But that is the way I feel about it. I am not bashing the game, I am not saying the game sucks. I am saying that this one feature is a big enough deal for me that I will pass for now.

Understood. If they were to take out 30 team roster control I just couldn’t buy it. Real time rosters are important for my immersion. It would completely ruin the fun factor for me. Love doing all the real time transactions. We’ll see, I guess.

Im sure I'll repeat some things others have said. These are in no particular order.

Player morale system revamped or taken out. Region location is just bad

Cpu pitcher balks/ejections Neither happens EVER

Check swing appeals.* Its about time the user is allowed to ask for these instead of relying on the cpu to call for it.

Challenge calls at every base plus the back end of a double play.

More scouts and better system to track potential draftees. Its time to revamp this system.** For the past couple of years the West has been a deadzone when drafting. Not many prospects are available from there. I want to be able to sign my guys and put them in the system asap (just like irl baseball).

Separate Ratings for Stamina and Durability These are not the same thing.

Up to date real time stats. Give us a stats screen on how a batter does vs pitcher "x" Incorporate the touch pad to give me batter or pitcher stats so i dont have to just pause the game.

When players get promoted they should get the salary bump (this feature works in RTTS)

NON ROSTER INVITEES

Real game time and lighting. Have you ever been to a night game say 7:15 when it bright and sunny? Well in this game the sun stays bright till past 8pm easily. (Thats not how it works here on the East Coast SDS). And if i have a game go anywhere up to and past 16 innings, odds are its not 11pm..

Just a few.. i know some dont strictly involve franchise.
