W.I.P. Version 1.5

UPDATE! I changed QB Acc to 0 on main menu, and QB Acc to 10 in dynasty on both sides. Also changed HUM Run Blocking to 5 and CPU Run Blocking to 80. and INT’s to 40 for both HUM/CPU. FG/PUNT Power to 70 as well

First of all, i love a good challenge. So i play sim of course. And i like to see accurate stats, as well as good gameplay. Don’t we all?

With this set you see more fumbles and more injuries. Which i barely ever noticed in this game before. But these only work if you input these EXACTLY as in my post.

MAIN MENU SETTINGS:

Offensive, Defensive, User vs User skill are set to Heisman.
Injuries: On
Fatigue: Off (turn it on in dynasty mode)
Quarter Length: 8 min
Play clock:On
Coaching Tips: Off

GAME SPEED SLOW!
Min Speed Threshold:15
Home Field Advantage: On
Ice Kicker: ON

PENALTIES:

Offensive Interference: 100
Defensive Interference : 70
The rest of the penalties are at 50

USER CUSTOM AI:

QB Accuracy : 0 on main menu/10 Dynasty
Pass Blocking: 70
WR Catching: 40
RB Ability: 40
Run Blocking: 5
Pass Coverage: 50
INT’s: 40
Rush Defense: 40
Tackling: 40
FG power: 70
FG Accuracy: 0
Punt Power: 70
Punt Accuracy: 0
Kickoff Power: 50

All auto subs are at default.

Now MAKE SURE you use the slowest settings for coach progression, and default level for coaches before you start your dynasty.

Ok. So with CPU QB Acc at 0 in Main menu, and putting it at 10 in dynasty.. for some reason with my settings, this works perfectly for inaccurate throws for both sides! Maybe because of my threshold settings.. or the slow speed effect this area? I have no clue. But in my case it works perfectly.

A couple games ago, i had a thrilling game with Kent State vs Bowling green. 25-24 was the score. Unfortunately i lost my stats for that game. I will not post a pic of my stats i had with the Bucks vs NIU. Because they were no match for us of course. But I’m going to post stats and pic from a game against a better team soon.

Right now I’m working on the cpu defense and offensive sliders. this is just version 1.0

If y’all want to help or have suggestions on this set let me know.

By the way guys i think slow speed plays way better than normal.

Here are some halftime stats with my cpu running and passing edits. I will update my sliders here after the game. Again, these aren’t final and i will be working on these very hard until perfection.

My bad. The pic didn’t show the score lol. It was 14-14 halftime. It is now 21-17 4th quarter.

Edit: WOW what a awesome game. It was a Tie game 24-24 with 7 seconds left, threw a bomb and won the game. Unbelievable.

Also forgot to mention coach edits. If you don’t make these edits, don’t worry its not a deal breaker lol. Sliders will still work without them but are recommended.

In your dynasty, go to coach info. Then click X on the Head coach/Offensive Coordinator/Defensive Coordinator.. and change their offensive/Defensive aggression to 50, And Sub Frequency to 85. You don’t have to touch anything else like run play off/ pass deff tendencies. Just keep those the way they are. Also, put CPU no Huddle Style to normal.

Do the same thing for your opponents coaches your going to be playing that next week. You dont have to do this for every single coach in the game. ONLY the the teams your going to be playing that week. I know this sounds like alot of tweaking/editing but it’s really not. Cuz by the time your season is over, every team in your conference/division will stay that way. But you should do these edits for out of conference teams as well.

I really would like someone to give these a shot and some feedback.

I haven’t noticed any issue with the rb stuck in mud but I will double check, it usually happens when RB ability slider is too low. And it usually happens on HB draws from shotgun. I usually don’t sprint up the middle because if you sprint in can cause defenders to some how “glue” to the RB, thus resulting in loss of yards

It just feels like a more polished and up to date NCAA14. Loving it. I think they are planning many more releases in the future too.

As for the RB issue in this game I’m going to see if it’s there. I’ll get to work.

And by the way, there’s no stuck in the mud with the rb’s in my setup. Even on slow, HB draws out of shotgun you should be good. What i do is never use the sprint button when runnning up the middle, that only makes defense somehow “glue” themselves to the RB resulting in no yards or even loss of yardage. I only use sprint when in you are in the open.

Also about homefield advantage, it seems as this setting makes the game play randomly, which in a way is a good thing or sometimes bad. So give it a few games with my set before making a judgement on the set.

But I might consider putting homefield advantage off as i got blown out 3-40. Kent state vs Wesern Michigan. I literally got my a** handed to me. But this might be a good thing, in other games i had close games and even some overtime games.
