[PS4] madden 21 Simulation Based Roster adjusted ratings

    EiJXrtAXcAQOQ6j.jpg
    INTRODUCTION
Hi I would like to to give a shout out stayodd i am trying to get my roster to be somewhere in that neighborhood also shout out to Tommycoa, mike lowe, Matt10, Schnidait, and many more for your amazing sliders, rosters and draft classes

    WHO AM I:
I am a 12 year old boy who want's to make madden a better game for everyone I spend endless hours adjusting ratings for Madden, Atleast everyday after school i try to update the roster

    MY KNOWLEDGE
About my sliders, I try to get my roster accurate as possible, so i go into a Franchise and if i see any stats out of order (for example) if i see Andy dalton leading the lead in passing td's i fix that or if someone averages 30.2 sacks a game i adjust their ratings and i actually seen these stats to so yea, and some people might call me harsh but players that got injured this year took a -1 to a -9 overall hit like Stephon Glimore (88 ovr) or Micheal thomas(85 ovr) because he had no touchdowns, Players who regressed took a hit on overall players like big ben (75 ovr), Lamar jackson (92 ovr) lamar was decent this year tbh, contracts are up to date for the offseason

    How I find ratings

First of i would like to say plagiarism is NOT NOT NOT right so big shout out to Cycloniac and stayodd, this is from cyclonic i follow how he gets his ratings Quarterbacks are assessed based on, but not limited to:
    -Passing and Rushing Yardage
    -Turnover Ratio
    -Net Yards per Attempt
    -Play Action Completion Percentage
    -Deep Ball Completion Percentage
    -Completion Percentage when Under Pressure
-Frequency of "Danger Plays" i.e. high-risk plays
    -Fumble Rate

Running Backs are assessed based on, but not limited to:
    -Yardage and Carries Per Game
    -Breakaway Rate
    -Yards Created per Touch
    -Receptions per Game
-BMI (influences grouping into one of four categories, along with weight: balanced, elusive (change of pace/scatback), receiving, power)

Wide Receivers are assessed on, but not limited to:
    -Yardage per game
-Average Depth of Target (influences role i.e. slot vs primary/flanker)
    -Yards After Catch per Reception

Tight End ratings are based on:
    -Yardage per game
    -Average Depth of Target
-Percentage of snaps used as blocker

Offensive linemen are rated using PFF's pass blocking and run blocking grades as a baseline. Playing time is then factored in.

Defensive linemen are assessed based on, but not limited to:
    -QB pressure rate
-Impact play rate i.e. sacks, forced fumbles, tackles for loss
-Weight (to determine physical stats, as well as power or speed bias)
-Playing time (influences role i.e. starter vs rotational lineman)
    -Missed tackle rate

If a lineman has an elite pressure rate, PFF's pass rush and run defense grades are factored in. This helps to seperate players like Maxx Crosby, who is an excellent edge rusher, but not as polished defending the run at this stage of his career.

Linebackers are assessed based on, but not limited to:
-Completion percentage and passer rating allowed, with adjustments based on number of targets (influences LB type: coverage, balanced, pass rush as well as coverage ratings)
    -QB pressure rate
    -Impact play rate
-Solo tackle rate vs missed tackle rate
    -Playing time

    Cornerbacks are rated based on:
-Completion percentage and passer rating allowed, with ceilings implemented based on number of targets (influences coverage skills in man and zone)
-Average Depth of Target (influences role i.e. slot vs man-to-man/zone)
    -Playing time

    Safeties are rated based on:
-Completion percentage and passer rating allowed, with number of targets factored in
-Solo tackle and tackle for loss rate
    -Forced fumbles dictate hit power

    Kicker ratings are based on:
    -Touchback percentage (kick power)
    -Field goal percentage (kick accuracy)

    Punter ratings are based on:
    -Yards allowed per punt return
-Percentage of punts inside the 20-yard line
-Number of kickoffs (kick power bonus to identify kickoff specialists)

Once all of the ratings are completed, traits are adjusted for every player. As a result:
-Only the elite players known to force fumbles receive the big hitter trait
-Physical/deep threat receivers receive the aggressive play ball trait, all others are balanced
-All defensive linemen have play ball set to conservative
-Only elite ball hawks at CB/S receive aggressive play ball, most are bala

And This is From stayodd :In short I look at these grades and look at the production, which then leads me to the ratings… If a player is graded poorly on PFF and ranked 60th at their position and ranked #4 in Madden I consider them to be regressing and make an adjustment. Does that mean the player should be ranked 60th in their position group in Madden, no, what it does mean is that they are not as dominant as they were last year or over the past few years and they need to be adjusted accordingly. The same goes for players ranked in the top 5 on PFF and 60th in Madden, see Rams RB Darrell Henderson for a progressing or Raiders C Rodney Hudson for a regressing player. I follow them rules and get my ratings

    TO CLOSE THIS OUT:

Just like stayodd said if your looking for odell to be like a 99 or something like that this aint it chief only in some ways i want my ratings to fit the playstyle players play in irl but i still want it to be madden realistic if you understand you understand

You can feel free to critique my ratings i want to know what everyone thinks so i can possibly change some ratings and extra

I will give these a shot soon. Very cool to see kids your age into ratings and rosters. Thanks for sharing these with us. Since stayodd isn’t updating anymore, it’s cool to have someone take up his system/style. I’ll do some cpu/cpu play now games. I’ll also share them with a buddy so he can test them out.

Quick question. Did you put the rookies on teams based on mock drafts or are they in free agency?

          Thanks for sharing your work.

i dont know how to post picture but i used my roster with tommycoa sliders and had some grest results but the only thing i didn't like was the passer rating:

josh allen had a 109.0 passer rating 68% completion 28/41 completions 332 yards 2 touchdowns and no Int's
                    and
ryan tannehill had 303 yards 92.3 passer rating 23/38 complete 2 touchdowns 1 Int 60 pass completion the other stat leaders

derrick henry 21 rushing attempts 107 yards 5.0average yards 1 td 0 fumbles his longest run a 11 yarder

devin singletary 17 attempts 61 yards 3.5 yards per 1 td and 0 fumbles his long run a 9 yarder

Stefon diggs 7 catches 94 yards 13.4 yards per 1 td 55 rac yards longest catch a 35 yarder

cole beasley 10 catches 113 yards 11.3 yards a catch 1 td 52 rac yards longest catch was a 25 yarder

Aj brown 7 catches 130 yards 18.5 yards per 1 td 54 rac longest catch a 44 yarder

Armani hooker lead with 12 total tackles bud

                    dupree lead with 3.0 sacks

                    levi wallace with 1 pick

micah hyde with 1 forced fumble

I know im not a sliders guy but i just wanted to show the stats and this game was simmed on fast it went to overtime and the bills beat the titans by a field goal to win it it was a close good game all game

Re: [PS4] madden 21 Simulation Based Roster adjusted ratings

Gameplay sliders have no effect when doing Super Sim on Fast or Normal speed. Sliders only work when you use Slow speed in Super Sim.

As for the qb ratings. I always use iteachpercussion’s QB Awareness formula. I go to pro football reference and look at the qbs current season stats.

I’m gonna do Josh Allen since you mentioned him.

                      Allen’s qb rating was 107.2 in 2020.

Take that 107.2 and add 90.

                      107.2+90=197.2

                      Now divide that by 2.

                      197.2/2=98.6

Grab these stats from Pro Football Reference.
                      TD%
                      INT%
                      Sack%

You will add the TD% to the 98.6 number we got. Allen’s TD% was 8.3%

                      98.6+8.3=105.1

Now subtract the Sack% and INT%

                      His sack% was 4.3

                      His INT% was 1.7.

                      105.1-4.3-1.7=99.1

So Allen will have a 99 Awareness rating.

As for the qb ratings. I always use iteachpercussion’s QB Awareness formula. I go to pro football reference and look at the qbs current season stats.

I’m gonna do Josh Allen since you mentioned him.

                        Allen’s qb rating was 107.2 in 2020.

Take that 107.2 and add 90.

                        107.2+90=197.2

                        Now divide that by 2.

                        197.2/2=98.6

Grab these stats from Pro Football Reference.
                        TD%
                        INT%
                        Sack%

You will add the TD% to the 98.6 number we got. Allen’s TD% was 8.3%

                        98.6+8.3=105.1

Now subtract the Sack% and INT%

                        His sack% was 4.3

                        His INT% was 1.7.

                        105.1-4.3-1.7=99.1

So Allen will have a 99 Awareness rating.

I’m not sure which post or how to find it. You may just want to ask him in his 1983 thread. He’s also quick to respond and has good answers in his threads. Good dude.
