also, if you find a worthy stadium that isn't created by an OS'er, those are welcome here also too as well.

personally I'm looking forward to see the best Ebbets Field recreation, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1913-1957
(but it would be great to play some Yankees & Mets games there,
not to mention an occasional Giants @ Dodgers series)

yep. I've accelerated my search for a ps5 just for created stadiums. I was going to wait until Christmas.
but at the rate of unavailableness it might still be Christmas lol
hopefully now that the Suez Canal is unblocked, that will help somewhat

Tiger Stadium

plenty of places to get the info they need like ballparksofbaseball.com and ballparks.com

second most wanted for me is Tiger Stadium (1961-1999), home of the Detroit Tigers 1912-1999 aka Briggs Stadium 1938-1960 and Navin Field 1912-1937

Capacity after 1937 - somewhere between 52,414 and 54,500
Dimensions -
LF Pole - 340'
RF Pole - 325'
CF - 440'
Backstop - 66'
LCF - 365'
RCF - 370'
these are roughly from mid-WWII on, with brief changes back and forth intermittently.
no lights until 1948

A player who probably played as good at Ebbets Field as anybody was Stan Musial. It was Brooklyn fans who gave him his nickname - "the man".

In 163 career games 37 HR 126 RBI .359/.448/.660/1.108 in Ebbets and it was all facing pitchers throwing of the higher mound.

Sportsman's Park is already in the game and I used to work in that area. Some of the area landmarks were included in the game which was nice to see.

speaking of which,
it would be great if at some point in the future the Studio would put in the ability to raise mounds back pre-1969 heights, at least 15''.
I'd love to face in the Show some of those pitchers from yesteryear where it seems like they are pitching down from the heavens.
can only imagine what a 99 mph heater would be like then versus today's Show.

also it would be something to face the Big Unit throwing downhill even further than he already did, combined with his height

This is gonna be an awesome feature and hopefully all of us here at OS can put together a great collection of historic and custom ballparks for everyone to enjoy.

I personally will be looking to do more themed ballparks rather than old classics (as a 25 year old kid I don’t have as many memories of the older ones)

This is going to be an amazing feature if SDS didn’t ruin it. I’m specifically talking about the ability to use stadiums we create in exhibition mode. The fact that we have 30 SDS created stadiums right out of the gate makes me hopeful. That plus it would be beyond stupid not to let us use them in exhibition mode. I just want clarification!

Since there are 30 custom stadium slots, I wonder if you can have more than 30 saved on your console and you can only access 30 on your stadium select screen?

Or is it 30 max throughout the game.

I ask this because if there is one franchise I want all old stadiums, I can download 30 classics. And then in a separate franchise I want all new custom stadiums. Can I have both save files using 60 total stadiums?

It has to be more than 30. There’s 30 in the game to start so whatever stadiums you create would be in addition to that.

I'm hopeful you're right. Frankly, I play more exhibition games than anything. I just don't have the consistent time available for a franchise or RTTS, so having this feature for single games would be huge for me.

Looking forward to this feature as well. Will probably be a bit before I plunge into getting a PS5, but looking forward to see everyone's creations, especially with the Classic Ballparks. Question I have is, how to get the Upper Decks right? Meaning, in looking at Tiger Stadium, will there be any sort of old style Upper decks that can get it to look what the stadium has? I know the over hang is more than likely not possible. Are we able to take styles from other stadiums and implement them in create a stadium?

This is my issue as well. I don’t have time to play franchise so 95% of my yearly games are exhibition games. The remaining 5% games would be RTTS. If they ever give us the ability to choose the stadium in RTTS this new feature would be unbelievable. I won’t hold my breath for that though.
