    ESPN Masters Coverage

Not bad and I like the fact they cover the first few holes Amen Corner and 15 and 16 but I can't wait for full coverage from CBS and Nantz this weekend. Doesn't really feel like watching a golf tournament this way. I expected more of a full coverage deal from 3-7.

I definitely do not need the leaderboard on the screen at all times

    This is golf, not basketball

I enjoy going with the quad-box setup on masters.com. I have featured groups, Amen Corner, 15 & 16, and holes 4, 5, and 6 on at the same time.

What made you expect more? It’s never been anything but 3-7 on Thursday and Friday.

I got the Disney ESPN Plus Hulu bundle. There is full coverage but since I don't have Hulu with Live TV it is not an option for me. There are holes I can't see was my point. 3-7 I expected what I didn't expect was being closed out of the full coverage. Not a big deal but they mis represented this.

Got it, I think the only way to watch before 3 is to stream on master.com as they have the sole rights outside of television hours.

I got early coverage much more than I expected but would like to see the guys finish is all. First groups off I could see. Announcers are really pretty good too.

Masters coverage has always been the worst, just because of the way the club tightly controls the broadcast (for reasons that remain unclear to me). That having been said, I also went with the quad-box for most of the day today, and it was pretty good. My only complaint is that I wish I could make the quad boxes much bigger, without going to 'full screen' mode (as that makes it hard to work/multi-task while keeping the action going in the background).

I’ve taken this Thursday and Friday off for years as a tradition. It always seemed weird to me since I couldn’t watch until 3 but it was usually my first days off for the year so it was just a good excuse.

Pandemic obviously changed that last year and didn’t take the days off this year either.

The coverage should be better but it never will be.

                    Re: ESPN Masters Coverage

Being able to watch every shot of an individual player's round is totally awesome. I just clicked through Jordan Spieth's entire round today and watched every shot he hit in like 8-9 minutes. For as much as the Masters coverage on regular TV sucks, if you are tethered to your computer during the workday (as many of us are), their killer web presence is a pretty darn good consolation prize.

ESPN still doing wall to wall coverage this weekend along with the CBS feed. I imagine that kid Zaclitoris heard it as a kid.

Not sure if all broadcasts use the same footage from Augusta but here in the UK for the first time they have drones up giving some great aerial shots of the action on the course.

Would look great in EA’s game to give a quality broadcast feel.

Would not mind ESPN doing this for all the majors.
