Preordered the Jackie Robinson edition for Xbox the second it was announced and available. Even with a PS5, I only intended to get my Show fix on Xbox this year. I’ve fallen in love with Xbox again after skipping the One and getting a Series X.

But being the Show nut that I am, I eventually preordered the Jackie Robinson edition for PlayStation as well. I’m fortunate enough to also have a PS5 and I’m intrigued by the Dual Sense implementation. Plus, we’ve all been playing the Show on PlayStation for it’s entire existence haha. I also wanted to see how the two compared. I have next gen Madden 21 and next gen 2K21 for both Series X and PS5, and I prefer both games on Series X. So I definitely want to see how they stack up against each other, especially since a Sony studio is making an Xbox game.

Upon the Game Pass news releasing, I cancelled my Xbox preorder. I figured I’d get to play it on PS5 early, and then download it on Xbox when it hits Game Pass the next week. However, the more that I think about it, I might just outright buy it on Xbox again anyways.

I’m keeping my Digital Deluxe preorder. I’m impatient and want the extra goodies in that edition.

I ordered the Jackie Robinson Digital edition. I have no plans to reverse on my order, as it's something I want to own, not hope is there all year long.

I was all set on waiting for it on Game Pass. But I also have a PS5 and was interested in the duel sense, and now it makes me wanna get it on PS5.

I'm keeping the Pre Order because the Next Gen version of The Show isn't part of the Game Pass. Just like NBA 2K was this year. Had to pay extra for the Next Gen version.



So since I have an X, I'm going to want to utilize the Create A Stadium in the Next Gen version.

Well hell. I completely missed that the first time. Fool is I. Yup, pre-order is being canceled then because I don't play Diamond Dynasty.

I also canceled GameStop preorder standard edition and adding Ultimate Game Pass

Hate these in between generation years and we have to wait so long, definitely picked up the Jackie Robinson edition and took Friday off work.

I may pick it up for PS5 later to see how it is on the DualSense.

I'm not 100% it's going to replace SMB3.

If you already have Game Pass, then you are just guaranteeing that you spend the maximum amount on the game. That's cool.

But there is no advantage to buying now because it might leave. It's not going to cost more than it costs now. If it leaves, you will buy it for less than it costs right now.

There is no risk in waiting to see if it leaves.
