The runner on 2nd to start extra innings rule. Yes or no?

Just wondering who will use this rule in their MLB The Show 21 franchise?

I saw somewhere that it can be toggled on or off to begin franchise.

I don’t know how or if a pole can be posted here.

Personally I’m still undecided. I’m not really a fan but I like to play with real life rules.

I hate it in real life, but I will be using it in the game because unfortunately it is used in real life and I want my Franchise to be realistic.

I won't be crying if/when they get rid of it in real life, trust me. It has already cost the Yankees 2 games.

I think it is a dumb rule, but same, will use it because its used in real life.

It could be toggled on/off in the tech test and I believe there was an option for it when you started a franchise. I will probably use it. Like others said it is realistic and hopefully it will shorten my extra inning games, as most of the time me and the CPU seem to go scoreless for 4 innings.

No, this wasn't going on for over 100 years so not starting now. I like the challenge of managing my bullpen and bench players in extras. What are they going to do next, allow players to re-enter?

I'll use it, as I'm one of the extreme minority of people that doesn't mind the rule in real life for regular season games.

I don't like the rule and since I only play with classic rosters i will turn it off.

Playing with it on (when/if I get the game) I’m not a big fan of marathon extra inning games, while playing.

On in franchise mode since it's still there in real life. Off in Play Now games when using classic rosters.

I don't worry about comparing franchise modes to real life. The base franchise environment is already VERY different from real life (just by virtue of different size rosters, roster rules, etc.). It's already a different universe from the very moment I hit the start button. I personally see no reason to do something solely because it is "done in real life" or comparing ANY aspect of what happens in franchise to real life when the base environment already differs.

In MY franchise universe, I'm turning that rule off. I want to continue to play 'baseball' no matter how many innings the game goes.

Hate it, but will use it since it’s in real life. Anyone know if I could use it in year 1 and then toggle it off for year 2?

Exactly! My franchise is my own fantasy world so I don’t worry about real life.
