Pretty lackluster next-gen reveal...

Having seen the stadium creator before I was really hoping to hear/see some more info on other enhancements aside from 4k 60fps. It was literally all creator info and nothing else, aside from the legends.

well, i hope people dont whine too much about this. because people have wanted Stadium Creator for YEARS!. that in its self is a HUGE undertaking. They even mention they started the project in 2016 and then rebooted it back in 2019. so it took them a while to get it to this stage. and lets be honest here. the Stadium Creator looks Fantastic out of the box as I and most people probably thought it was going to be like a really basic creator initially.

I think next version will be much much more graphical upgrades as they now have implemented the long awaited creator and as years past, they add to the creator but they can probably focus more on the graphical upgrades now forward.

I think the idea is that while im not upset with the stadium creator, i would have chose other features if they all came at the expense of a stadium creator.

What I don't get about people that keep parroting this: do we know for a fact that the people in question that worked on the stadium creator stuff, would them not working on stadium creator have actually made something else improved? We don't. Most of the people working on it could have been the art department. The art department isn't going to improve franchise mode now is it?

It would’ve been nice to get like an uninterrupted inning or two of gameplay just to see intros and presentation and graphics and stuff. Maybe in a created stadium. The marketing this year hasn’t been All that fun, I’m guessing due to covid.

True, I mean I started I skippin thru the video minute by minute to see what else they'd show in the video after the stadium creator.. *shrugs*

Stadium creator is very cool lookin but c'mon. Well, I guess they didn't change anything else in the next gen versions yet or they would've shown it.

I didn't expect any visual changes. It's the PS4 version runnin on a PS5. They turned some visual settings up (ones we don't have access to) and that's what it is.

It still would've been cool to see a couple minutes of gameplay..

This is exactly what I did. I do think it's quite a feature but I expected to hear about other next gen features as well, just didn't happen. I'm hoping for some next gen surprises on the 15th but won't be shocked if there isn't much.

I'm sure I'll check out some of the creator but overall not my thing.

what the point of this right now if you cant even find a next system to buy. the creator is next gen, even be the pars shareable to the older gen units.
