Why do the rosters after a few seasons? Teams will have 3-4 goalies and like a ton of D? This game is pointless.

Well a weak Roster update. Every person of the Community can do it faster. Not about the missing young Rookies from the AHL cause they need to pass and sign a AHL waiver form and will be in than in about two weeks. As usual they add only Player data with black Silhouettes without any image. Maybe they do not find the Button to add images ;-) Also many existing images are old and no more up to date and need to be changed urgently. That all should be basic work for a good Sport game. About adding some new likenesses at the updates I give up to talk.

I still can't understand how anyone can enjoy playing this game. I have given it several chances and I always give up. It's arcadey with end to end rushes and no real strategy. This is not NHL hockey. I hope and pray the next version on this current gen of consoles will be way better.

And yet the best NHL game is NHL 94. I've played hockey for a long time. I know hockey. I don't care if the game isn't "real NHL hockey." "Real" doesn't always equate to "fun."

I am not going to tell you NHL 21 is amazing. I have my beef with it. One being there's actually too much the game is trying to do. But I play it because I enjoy the roster management, etc. But I'm not looking to replicate NHL games 1:1.

Unfortunately it’s the only Hockey game. I bought it from private in used condition a month after release. So EA didn’t get my money. Will do with NHL 22 the same way.

Honestly, I feel like the NHL 94 Retro game was the best hockey game released this year. If only it had a season mode!

Tried playing it, lasted 1 minute. Games have came such a long way since then.

This update is just another part of this game that lacks attention to detail. How do you miss some of the biggest prospects in the game who signed pro contracts before the trade deadline? Caulfield, matt boldy, spencer knight, Alex newhook, sampo ranta, ect. Why even put one out if it's going to be so half-assed?

I of course don't know this, but it's almost like these guys aren't huge hockey fans. I would be so excited to put those guys into the game finally, but nope. Maybe in nhl 22.

Can't add them until they play (at the minimum) their first NHL game. It's part of the collective agreement, and has been discussed here ad-nauseum.

Not defending the guys who do the rosters, or the guys who do the ratings, and will definitely be the first in line banging on the "GIVE US ROSTER SHARING!" drum, but (unfortunately) just because they sign an ELC doesn't mean that EA can put them in the game.
