Diamond Dynasty Servers

I could not log into DD all weekend. I googled it and other people reported not being able to log in after playing RTTS. Im guessing this is true since I haven't been able to log into DD after playing RTTS as well. Is this happening to anyone else? Are the devs aware of this?

I am sure they are aware. They were flooded with complaints since launch about all kinds of things, and server connectivity is def one of those issues.

For me, they completely ruined this game. What a huge disappointment as this is the game I play the most every year going back to the PS2 days. Not only are the servers completely unusable at least half the time. They also force me to have to play diamond dynasty as part of my RTTS career. So obnoxious. I don't want the modes tied together. I having nothing against DD. If I want to play that mode then let me play it. Or at least give me the CHOICE to intertwine them when creating a character.

And speaking of RTTS. Basically only a handful players have done the two-way player thing at a very high level (for the most part)...****th and Ohtani are by far the biggest names there IMO....and Ruth only did both for a short spell in the beginning of his career. So, anyway....."hey, guys...let's re-design our beloved RTTS mode and FORCE everyone to have to play as a two-way player!" Something that only a few people out of the tens of thousands in MLB history have done. lol Some of the design decisions with this years game are so insanely stupid it is beyond belief.

It's such a shame because playing on the PS5 is a good experience...for the 1/2 of the time the servers can connect! I've purchased this game at launch every year going back to the PS2. I guess it is my own fault for pre-ordering this game. Fair enough, but I won't make that mistake again next season. I might end up getting it late in the year when the game goes on sale, but they have now lost me as a long-time launch day customer. Really poor form from Sony San Diego. smh

At this point I'm really annoyed that SDS hasn't said "sorry" about the server issues. I got disconnected from the 1st Inning Showdown twice during the final boss and both counted as losses.

"We appreciate your continued patience" is their line. Ugh.

So corporate.

I'm still hoping they'll release some kind of apology bundle once they've truly put the issues to rest. Things have been much better for me the past day or two.

Not the biggest deal, but just so corporate to thank people "for their patience and support" instead of saying apologizing.

Just completed a game VS the Padres that I won on All-Star to complete the new Huston Street run and get his card then come back and am disconnected from the servers!!!! Are you kidding me?? I don't give a rat's *** about double XP, I want my card!!!

I'm really.getting annoyed about this only being able to play in spurts and then get kicked . I love the game play and everything to do in the game just wish I could actually play it more .

It's getting to be embarrassing at this point. Those that are lucky to be able to log in are literally playing Russian Roulette with progress. Games not counting/stats not counting/losing Showdown runs/cards disappearing. Every time they make a public post about server updates, they crash again within hours.

They have such a good game. It's seriously a shame.

Completed a save with a SD RP, didn’t count. 12 Ks with RP, says I have 6. It’s like they want you to quit. I have limited time to play, and 90% of the time servers are down, don’t get rewards, etc. Once the rosters come back it may be back to a franchise only player for me.

DD progression with these servers is atrocious. I was able to play yesterday from about 5-8:30pm, was grinding out some conquest and working on Ball Player innings and Hits for sparkplug , TA innings, and Giambi total bases. I was getting progress to track about 50% of the time. Twice I captured 2 strongholds and didnt get credit for it and had to do it again. I don't mind grinding but having to do everything twice because the servers are hot garbage is ridiculous.

I am at the final boss in the 1st inning showdown and don't want to attempt it because I don't want the servers to screw up and have to do the whole thing all over again. Same with the Huston Street player program, got all the moments done but don't want to play the Padres. Heard too many people not getting credit for the win, or worse they get credit and never get the card.

There literally is not a single game mode that is working correctly, every mode is bugged. This years game is the very definition of a **** show.

Yeah I'm having a tough time getting my stats to stick for those player programs. I was up 4 in the 9th in a RS season game then gave up a bomb with 2 outs...was honestly the perfect time to give up a HR...so i took the opportunity to throw in silver Keona Kela to grab the 1 out save and lock in Street. Unfortunately it didn't save my progress. I didnt even get booted from the servers either and got credit for the win, and my stats were saved for individual players. At least that's an easy one to finish organically by tallying K's out of the pen. Hopefully a fix comes soon though [emoji1696]
