Hello again OS baseball fans. Last year I brought to you a 30 team college baseball roster to use in franchise mode. The rosters were a much larger success than I even imagined. The college rosters spent a long time as the third most download, and third highest rated in the vault (behind OS's own Bacon's Fictional rosters, and the full minors rosters). So, here we are again, preparing for The Show 21's version of the rosters. With the possible addition of other consoles to this year's game, I'm hoping this roster takes off even more.
For those unfamiliar with last year's rosters, I'll give a brief run down. There were 30 teams rosters created, with correct names, heights, weights, positions, and adjusted ratings. Logos were also provided for each team. Every college player, and real MLB player had edited contracts, to make playing multiple seasons of franchise very easy, without running into any issues. Having the base set already created will allow me to do even more with this year's set. I plan on adding correct home states of each player (I would get annoyed playing and it tell me everybody was from the Dominican republic), as well as some other upgrades to player images.
Since we were given the ability to transfer files from The Show 20 over into The Show 21, once it's released, it will allow me to get a head start. My plans are to have this roster 100% complete on the day the game releases.
For those interested in quickly communicating with me, keeping up to date on where we are with the rosters, or even wishing to help with the project, I will post a discord link below. I still check this OS forum multiple times a week, but I am able to help almost immediately in the discord. The link to join is below. We welcome everyone.
Also, for anyone who has a favorite team(s) missing from the list of teams we have created, we will begin taking request on adding those teams for you. Again, discord is the quickest way to get a response, but I will also respond here.
