Weird! Player in Search but not in Roster??

Has this happened to anyone else? It is the weirdest thing - I am stumped.
I am in Franchise and using Ridin’s roster. I am quite behind from real life and so am at April 30. On that date the Cubs DFA’d Brandon Workman and a few days later the Red Sox signed him. So, I went to do the same but I searched the Cubs roster and couldn’t find Workman. So, I thought, he must have been already released so i did a player search and here is what I found:


Workman is found to be on the MLB team of the Cubs. So, I go back to the cubs thinking I must have missed him but no -


I have searched and searched but I cannot find Workman anywhere on the roster even thought the search says he’s there.
Anyone ever come across this? Is there anything I can do or are my rosters corrupted? Any help would be appreciated.

The screen you are showing is the Relief pitching screen, is it possible he is on the Closers tab?

Thanks for the suggestion but no… I went to there and to the Cubs “ALL” screen on the roster and Workman is simply not listed anywhere, even though on the first screen you’ll see he is listed as RP. it’s the darndest thing I’ve ever seen and I’ve been playing this game since 2012… never has a player just disappeared while showing up on the Player Search screen.

I’m only at the last of April in the 2021 season. I’m coming to the conclusion it’s just a crazy glitch as no one else seems to have experienced it. Thx for asking.

I found a SECOND Player… same deal…
Tanner Roark shows up in search as a SP for the Blue Jays but he is nowhere to be found on the Jays roster… This is sooooo weird!!

I FOUND them! However, there is still something wrong… they are both on the waiver wire…. They each have 1 day left to be claimed But… normally they are still listed in the roster with a “W” beside them… these guys are nowhere listed on the teams roster (Workman on Cubs / Roark on the Jays) but they are on the Waiver wire. Still weird but at least they didn’t disappear totally.
