I hope Deuce is the person from the community who has worked on the scenario engine. He seemed to give some hints he was helping. I like the look of the UI from the zoomed out screenshots from the video, so maybe some inspiration from his mock-ups as well.

Some of the additions sound good and should add some immersion into franchise mode. Have never been a big fan of the gameplay and it still needs improvement in some core areas. In the good old days, the franchise depth keep me immersed and made me overlook some of the gameplay and I'm hoping we get back to that moving forward.

Really disappointed that the PC version is still gen 4.

With franchise being the first reveal, I think they finally put some effort into it and want to show it off. We'll see soon.

No crossplay sadly, if it was in they would have led with that
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

I don't care what anyone says, this year has me more hyped tf up than ever! Features such as the Home Field Advantage & Coaching Carousel has me feelin' like Pinocchio (Bride of Chucky reference)

For anyone that is still rocking last gen from the article...

The PS4 and Xbox One versions are also getting updates:*While EA's focus has plainly shifted to the PS5 and Xbox Series X, previous-gen consoles will continue to be supported for another year. Graddy confirms that all of the modes should be very similar across all platforms. "So Face of the Franchise is going to be very similar between Gen 4 and Gen. Ultimate Team will be very similar. The Yard and Superstar KO, which we didn't talk a lot, those that are going to be a fairly similar," Graddy said. "With franchise, staff management will be there, game planning will be there, but some of the other dynamic gameday elements around atmosphere, and obviously the Next-Gen stats gameplay, which is only available on Gen 5, won't be there. But I think our Gen 4 audiences are going to be happy with a lot of the content that they're getting."

Enough information here to make me reasonably hopeful that this will be a good game.

This "momentum" stuff better be optional. I don't even use the Super Powers in my games. I really don't want to see more menu graphics on the field when I'm playing.

They almost made a big mistake, IMO, by pushing the scouting revamp to Madden 23. Despite what has been added to Franchise a lot of people would have still melted down over not enough being added to the mode. Getting Scouting in this year should temporarily be enough to make most Franchise folks feel good about the mode, excepting for those with their personal white whale issues, and those that are looking to hate Madden no matter what.

This is why I said the other day that I was glad that Franchise was now part of the live service model in Madden, otherwise, Scouting would have been out.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yeah, I got to say what they are promising is more than I expected. We'll see if they deliver on their promise, of course, but it's a good forward step.

Yeah, it's the scouting stuff that tips the scales enough to make it worth buying (assuming there's been upgrades across the board, and that the new Franchise changes don't suck and work properly).
