So, how to make daily moments even more execrable?  How to add even more grind to the grind-fest?

Hard pass.  

I miss the days when game "completion" was possible without the game having to overtake your life.  Devs, please think about that when you plan next year's DD...

Haha I didn't think Kevin's ideas would be popular. HOWEVER, what I would say is part of it existing would be if you do miss out on a bunch of days and need to catch up. So in that way, I don't mind these.

Moments suck. And daily moments were a horrible idea -- like having a second job, and if you miss a bunch because you can't play every day, oh well. Back on the hamster wheel, rodent!

Too. Much. Grind. Already.

I'm unplugging from DD. This was my last inning program. It's overkill. Heaps of more or less meaningless cards that go obsolete in a week or two, save for a few.

If SDS found a way to make the grind worthwhile for next year's game -- like carryover saves with a multi-year master binder -- I would be more inclined to power through. But the thought of everything starting from scratch again in 22...nah, can't do it. Not worth the massive commitment just to kiss it all goodbye when 21 uninstalls to make room for 22.

It's been fun.

I think they definitely could do something to allow people to make up progress.

I get the whole point of daily incentive to log in, but they could just make everything 2 points. The way they do the Moments don't always balance.

Like, longer moments being worth a single point and then some that are like "get 1 hit" for 2. If they were all just 2 points I think it would seem less daunting for people who might not be able to log in.
