Re: New Game & 12 Team Playoff???

IF the NCAA is not directly involved with the game, I don't see why there shouldn't be a 12 team playoff option. Based off the last full season in 2019, this is what a 12 team playoff would look like for the 1st two rounds:

(8)Wisconsin (at large) vs (9) Florida (at large)
(5)Georgia (at large) vs (12) Memphis (AAC Champs)
(6) Oregon (PAC-12) vs (11) Utah (at large)
(7)Baylor (at large) vs (10)Penn St (at large)

(1)LSU (SEC Champs) vs 8/9 winner
(2)Ohio St. (Big Ten Champs) vs 7/10 winner
(3)Clemson (ACC Champs) vs 6/11 winner
(4)Oklahoma (Big 12 Champs) vs 5/12 winner

Of course the new system isn't perfect, you would have a PAC-12 Championship rematch and #17 Memphis (AAC champs) would get a playoff spot in place of #12 Auburn and #13 Alabama.
