I hate to be a “back in my day” guy, but Madden used to have amazing soundtracks with lots of variety of genres. Same goes for NBA 2k. Now it seems neither franchise cares to diversify the playlist to include anything but rap and hip hop. Every year I switch to the NFL music as soon as I can.

Yeah I'm not sure why they switched away from having a variety of genres. I'm wondering what kind of research or anything they do to determine what would be best for the soundtrack.

Sound track is right up my alley personally, but I do understand the yearly feelings towards Madden soundtrack.

There are some Instrumentals by Kris Bowers in EA Trax, if you don't like the lyrics of the songs.

But all in all let's just be thankful we don't have to throw it in rotation anymore.

Welp, another year of turning off every song and going to instrumental. Why did they decide to go completely to rap? What makes it worse is that it's horrible rap? I remember the days of variety.

I miss the 2000s Madden soundtracks blending different genres of music. Growing up I knew next to knowing about rock and alternative until I got into Madden. These recent soundtracks are flat out garbage.

I love all genre's of music and even as a hip hop die hard, I think this new wave needs a new name. Saying it's hip hop almost makes me choke. I could rant for days about this trash but it's someone's treasure in this new generation so whateva. smh

Last great soundtrack was 16. Full of variety. Rap, R&B, Rock, country, pop.
