Started a coach play the moments default all pro mode with the Jets. Started off 1-5 seemingly headed for number one pick and in typical Jet fashion have won four of last six to ruin that. I was without Wilson until like week eight. So Jets sit at 5-7 currently.

Now that game is unlocked I’m probably going to do full games in the second season and beyond.

Doing what I usually do: Take the Chargers, release all but their ten best players, sign the worst minimums at every position, go into Franchise with that roster, trade away the 10 best players for picks to rebuild, and get to it.

Finished the pre-season (All-Madden 12 Minute Quarters, Modified Sliders), and my team is as awful as you would think. 51 overall Steven Montez is the QB. More than half his pocket passes were inaccurate across the preseason.

Will likely go 0-18, but I'm waiting for the updated draft classes to be available. Also relocating the team, which I wish EA would make new teams more robust, similar to NBA2K.

I played two games as the Jags and simmed the season, then simmed the playoffs.

            Jags won the SB.

Went through off-season and then deleted the franchise. Wasn't going to let that be my first franchise.

I'm in year two of a fantasy franchise. Have Minshew as my QB and Fitspatrick as a backup.

The generated rookie QBs sucled, so I'm running another year with Minshew.

A bunch of fast WR's and a bad defense with Joey Bosa at OLB.

I really suck playing a 3-4 Defense, but am trying to learn.

I typically play one or two games, Sim a few and then play a few. Usually Sim playoff games the first two years.

Haven't decided which team I'm going to use yet. I think I'll start a dynasty when I do decide the team because I want to start writing a bit more creatively as opposed to just for work.

1-1 as Justin Fields. Scored like 3 TD (2
Rushing, 1 passing) but lost a close one in Week 2.

CHI is 4-2 following a 21-18 W over GB where Justin Fields went 16/23 for 200 YDS and a TD while rushing 6 times for 61 YDS and 2 TD.

Went 2-16 with my disasterpiece Chargers team, while relocating the team to Portland.

Several games were winnable, but Montez can't throw further than 10 yards to save his life. Chiefs beat me 56-14 and 49-14. My 61 overall defense had no hope of stopping Mahomes.

So onto season 2. Cap penalties and self-imposed restrictions (I can only attempt to sign 3 players over 81 overall, and none over 90) got me a few upgrades. Draft went well, with Thibedoux and Karlaftis anchoring the defense and new QB Carson Strong looking MUCH better than Montez. Team is now a 74 on offense and a 76 on defense. Now things will be interesting at least.

So far New York Giants SIM MODE:

                        Year 1: 1-16 (29th offense , 32nd defense)

Year 2: 8-9 (Saquon missed 6 weeks) 18th offense and 24th defense ( Safeties Cadet and Xavier pro bowl), Cadet won ROTY Defense, Fun rivalry with QB Hood of Eagles who won ROTY QB.

                        Year 3: 11-6 1st offense, 23rd defense, lost wildcard

                        Year 4: 11-6 14th offense, 17th defense, lost wildcard in OT 33-27

                        Year 5: 11-6, 9-1 post bye week, 6th offense 17th defense. Lost wildcard 35-31

                        ---
I plan to play for at least another 5 years and hopefully win a SB. But 3 consecutive seasons of 11-6 football losing the wild card! WE gotta get better!

When I do another Giants rebuild, I plan to change my defense from a 4-3 back to a 3-4 disguise probably as my pass defense is atrocious despite having a very strong group of players

Re: How’s Your Franchise Going: Madden 22 Edition

It has probably been several years since I played Madden franchise mode. Once they started incorporating solo challenges with MUT or the storyline modes where you can build your career, I had abandoned franchise. However, this time around, I've found myself back in franchise mode and am really enjoying it. I'm doing the Play the Moments option for all my games. Maybe I will change that when/if I hit the playoffs.

I took the Steelers but did a fantasy draft. My biggest pick-ups were Derrick Henry and Stephon Gilmore but I draft 10 rounds and let the computer do the rest. This guarantees me some guys I like but also keeps me from gaming the system. Anyway, by the time I went to draft QB my choices were Tom Brady, Derek Carr and below. So I grabbed Brady with an eye on trading him. I turned Brady and Calais Campbell into Zach Wilson, T.J. Watt and Jack Doyle. I gave up more than I got but I also rounded my team out and picked up a young QB.

I set my goal at 7 wins as I'm playing on All-Pro out of the gate. The season and challenges have been A LOT of fun thus far. I'm 7-4 and tied with the Bengals for the division lead. In fact, I have a big Bengals showdown next.

Derrick Henry is an absolute monster and my focus almost every week is rushing up the middle. Zach Wilson and I struggle to be on the same page and it really feels like I could be headed towards the dreaded Jameis Winston 30-30 season. I have 16 passing touchdowns and 15 interceptions which, while frustrating, I don't question any of them. I'm asking a lot out of my rookie, I'm throwing on the move a bit too much and I'm paying the price for it.

The average score of my games is 25.2 a game for me and 23.8 for my opponents, not bad at all. I'm scouting hard core for the offensive line and middle linebacker.

Thanks to all of you guys who have been sharing your franchise updates.

I just started mine tonight, haven't played a game yet.

I am totally amazed at the CFM additions. Tremendous leap forward. I'm very excited.

I'm 6-2 as the Panthers. I suffered my second loss in my last game, the scenario engine threw a curve ball at me where I found out during a press conference and CMC had been seen limping and wouldn't be available this week. I put the onus on the whole team to pick up the slack which they didn't do haha
