I am about to start a franchise with the Texans, and was just curious to how other players are handling their Houston rebuilds and the Deshaun Watson situation? I think I’m going to trade him for two first round picks and maybe a young player at a needed position.

I'm assuming he'll get suspended at some point, so I lowered him to a 40 overall and released him in the roster menu since Houston won't get a salary hit if he is suspended.

I played against the Texans in week 1 and i just went to edit Watson to a punter position assuming he may not play.

That’s a good idea. I know I could trade him and get a good little haul. But I don’t want to make my rebuild to easy.

I'm not giving him the Kaepernick treatment of turning him to a max age Punter, just waiting to see if he's going to play or get suspended.

It seems like the Texans are going to let him play.

I ran a test franchise with the Texans during the trial because I wouldn’t get to invested in them. The eagles gave me all three of their 2022 first round draft picks for Watson. So essentially I had four first round picks in 2022. I then turned around and picked gardner minshew up for a third rounder to be my place holder. Not all that realistic but was just fooling around with the roster building features

I plan on trading him to the Jets for two 1st round picks and rebuilding the franchise with a future quarterback from the draft.

I sat him for the year. Traded him to Washington for two firsts and a second in the offseason.
