Anyone else happy they are waiting to purchase Madden 22? With the lack of penalties, busted coverage, sim stats in franchise, etc. I have decided to wait until the game is worth buying. There is potential here so I hope these issues are resolved sooner rather than later.

So who's happy they waited?

80% of the game isn’t working for me, I can only play offline franchise and play now. Very disappointed in this broken product. I’ve played all of their betas for the last several years and they aren’t even this broken. Hard to believe they could release this game in this state.

We definitely need to bring out the annual dictionary for folks on the term "broken". It gets thrown around like it is going out of style.

I'm having a lot of fun with it. Sure there's bugs but nothing that is game breaking for me.

So who's happy they waited?

This is the first game I won’t have by at least normal release since Madden 12. With the scouting update coming it makes it easier to wait a few weeks. Mid September should give time for patches, and worst case 2-3 weeks to play and build a playbook before the update.

THANK YOU .. it’s beyond annoying. Constant complaints. Game have its issues ? Sure there’s some. But broken? People ain’t happy unless they have something to feel victimized about lol

Yep. I still have trial time and waiting for scouting update. Just playing exhibition games on default until then.

I’m definitely glad I waited. The problems I’ve seen reported about the game would absolutely drive me nuts and I’d spent half my time trying to tune things to a slider set.

Between Simfballcritic and Eric Rayweather I’ve seen enough from them on the coverage that makes me not want to touch the game until there some kind of update.

Definitely not, game is awesome on the PS5 imo. I was on the fence before playing the trial.
