    Madden 22 XP Sliders

So because I'm recovering from a seriously rough COVID season, I don't know when I'm going to buy the game. I can't justify a $60 purchase until I get my savings rebuilt (basically I was ineligible for every form of aid for a variety of reasons), so I'm using my trial period to make these.

Now, sit down, this might shock you. They are REALLY good out of the box. I've done two passes, and I'm barely making any adjustments. Someone who actually payed attention in math class in Jr. High must have tuned them this year.

Anyways, here's where they are right now. I'm going to keep fine tuning, but I wouldn't worry about waiting to start your franchise mode.

    Version: 1.0
    QB: 99% FINAL
    HB: 99% FINAL
    TE: 87% FINAL
    WR: 96% FINAL
    FB: 96% FINAL
    OT: 80% FINAL
    OG: 77% FINAL
    C: 89% FINAL
    DE: 96% FINAL
    DT: 92% FINAL
    OLB: 90% FINAL
    MLB: 90% FINAL
    CB: 98% FINAL
    FS: 101% FINAL
    SS: 100% FINAL
    K: 120% FINAL
    P: 110% FINAL

    * This position requires only one more confirmation pass to be considered final.

So yeah, like I said... really don't even need to touch them if you don't want too.

Alright, final update for a while. I'm going to use the last 2 hours of my trial to actually play the game. I have no idea when I'll own it, so I hope this tides ya'll over for now

Seriously bad form, bro. I hope your sliders are fantastic, but you don't go jumping in another creators thread. Make your own and let them stand on their own. I get why you posted her, but better you participate in the discussion instead. Like, critique mine rather.

Once you get the right sliders and adjusting the game actually plays very realistic and fun. I wish it did this out of the box though. I’m going to create some sliders and take a little insight from a few slider makers and make my own.

These are built for defaults. I'm considering playing with those at a later date but I'm currently working on building a halfway believable Shanahan playbook.

If I'm being honest, I'd like to raise them all slightly. Because the draft classes are built for defaults, this would create new interesting situations like late bloomers and surprise 2nd year breakouts.

I'm using your XP Sliders, appreciate the time and effort.
I'm in the year 2023, a CPU vs CPU slow sim Offline Franchise using my Sliders.

I've been downloading the latest and most popular Draft Classes from EA Share within the game.

What are some of the long-term issues with the XP settings in Madden, I'm not familiar with the whole XP thing.

                          Thanks

                            Re: Madden 22 XP Sliders

I hate the xp system with a passion and I actually got into a shouting match in the office when we were designing it. I hate it. However, they did a great job polishing the turd this year by eliminating drive goals (which introduced a more-or-less untunable complication) and doing a great job of balancing the draft classes.

The biggest remaining problem is still the rich-get-richer issue. Higher rated players are more likely to achieve milestones and win awards. Thus, good players improve and lesser players stagnate. There is little we can do about that.

Overall, the system is better balanced than it has ever been, but it's a flawed system. If you're on PC I highly recommend tdawg's progression mod (did he release it this year? I honestly don't know).

I don't like it either, you are forced to look at, I would think some type of progression formula would work better.
