              Five Games Without Win
              Current Record 0-5

The 2nd game in a new season was with the Miami Heat, Wendell Carter Jr. sprained left toe in game against the Toronto Raptors (GM4). His break will last about 1-2 weeks. Bamba will take Carter's place in the starting lineup versus the Boston Celtics. Mohamed Bamba as starter in last game vs. Detroit, ended with 18 points and 15 rebounds, 3 blocks. Saddiq Bey finished as leader of all scorers with 25 points and he protected 2nd win in the season for the Pistons.
Rookie, Jalen Suggs scored 20 points per game in his first 5 games in his NBA career but that did not translate into winning at least one game.

                      Markelle Has Another Injury
                      Current Record 3-12

In Game no. 12 against the New Orleans Pelicans, Luke Kennard and Markelle Fultz they scored 23 points. The Orlando Magic won because Ingram (22 points) and Williamson (15 points) had trouble with too many fouls. The next three games vs. Hawks, at Toronto and at Chicago we loss. Only Wendell Carter Jr. scored 22 points against his former team, the Chicago Bulls. The other players did not exceed the limit of 14 points.

Markelle Fultz returned to active rotation only for the six games. He started season with game vs. Bulls (GM10) and he suffered an injury in the next game against Bulls at Chicago (GM15).
Markelle Fultz will be unable to play for next 4-6 weeks because of high right ankle sprain. R.J. Hampton retuns as starting shooting guard in game vs. Cavaliers.

                          Goodbye Orlando, Welcome Boston
                          NBA News - Transactions, 01/13/2022

Wendell Carter Jr. said: "There is no way I'm re-signing with this weak team after the season". After that words General Manager of the Orlando Magic made it a point of honor to traded Wendell from the team as soon as possible, because he doesn't want to have a snake in the locker room. One day later, there were rumor about Carter trade to the Celtics.
30 hours after Carter's words in interwiew with press, this trade was confirmed (detail below):

                          Projected Lineups
                          • Boston: Schroder - Smart - Brown - Tatum - Carter Jr.
                          • Magic: Suggs - Kennard - Richardson - Isaac - Bamba

Kevin Love Lands Under Pop's Wings
                          01/11/2022

The Cavaliers have periodically explored trading Love — a scenario he supports — but have been unable to find a deal they’re willing to execute, sources said. The arrivals of three significantly younger frontcourt players in the past year — including center Jarrett Allen, No. 3 overall pick Evan Mobley and forward Lauri Markkanen from the Bulls — could impact Love’s minutes with the Cavaliers. said via Adrian Wojnarowski @ ESPN.
                          update:
Cavaliers find team to trade Kevin Love. Pop and The San Antonio Spurs will take a huge contract of Love over $60M to next two years but they have a young core and need some veterans (last summer lefts: Gay, DeRozan Mills, and earlier Aldridge).

                          Projected Lineups
                          • San Antonio: Murray - White - Vassell - Johnson - Love
                          • Cavaliers: Garland- Sexton - Okoro - Markkanen - Allen

John Wall Joined to OKC, Christian Wood In Dallas
                          01/09/2022

The Dallas Mavericks did not make that ground-shaking trade past offseason that many thought they could. They found a minimal market around the league for Kristaps Porzingis, which is understandable.
The Mavericks need to find someone that can be the sidekick to Luka Doncic that they need to get to the next level. If they do not believe Porzingis can accomplish that any longer, they will have to begin looking elsewhere.
Adding that kind of production from Wood alongside what the Mavericks already have could help take them to the next level. Wood would give Doncic another partner to run pick-and-roll variations to pull defenders further away from the basket.

The Houston Rockets have seen a ton of turnover during the last calendar year, including losing one of their best players in franchise history, James Harden, in a messy divorce while also seeing a top mind in the NBA, Daryl Morey, jump ship and head to the Philadelphia 76ers. They gave that same label to Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Kemba Walker, and Al Horford before each of them was traded away. So it is clear that there is often a path to move on from these big contracts, however, Wall’s deal feels different.
It was reported by The Athletic that John Wall and the Houston Rockets found another team to exchange. The Oklahoma City Thunder take John Wall's contract but they greedy for next draft pick in the class of 2023.

                          • Dallas: Doncic - Hardaway Jr. - Finney-Smith - Porzingis - Wood
                          • Houston: Porter Jr. - Green - Dort - Martin Jr. - Powell

                          Ben Simmons For D'Angelo Russell
                          01/07/2022

The Timberwolves are one of the only teams that could utilize Simmons' strength both on the offensive and defensive side. His DPOY level defense will obviously help their defense (comparing to Russell). Simmons presence around the paint in the half court offense often relegated Embiid to standing around the perimeter, but this is a much lesser problem with Towns on the floor. Playing Simmons next to 4 shooters will give space to drive or utilize his playmaking to find open shooters.

Philadelphia gets rid of Simmons and replaces him with a near All-Star-level point guard D'Angelo Russell who is still on the younger side and who can consistently create his own shot, something the Sixers have desperately lacked from perimeter players. He is a bad defender but the sixers have a good team defense.

Russell - Towns friendship is still here but NBA is a business and considering the long playoff drought of the Timberwolves. Business win over love. The trade is complete.

                          Projected Lineups
                          • Philadephia: Russell - Beasley - Green - Harris - Embiid
                          • Minnesota: Maxey - Edwards - McDaniels - Simmons - Towns
