Delayed predictably til October but I was the uneasy one for not having faith in EA to hit their September target when it was silence since July.

"Mid" October. So anything from the 10th to the 23rd. Loving the game so far this year, but honestly this is knock against them. I feel bad for all the online franchise players who were patiently waiting on the promise of "September" from EA. Every week that goes by hurts those online franchises.

They always said TARGETING September, never a promise. It'll likely be a more polished and finished product instead of a buggy mess. I'll gladly take the former any day.

We both know Madden not releasing in August was never an option for EA and to suggest that the NFL would have allowed Tiburon to delay the game is ridiculous.

Yeah October does suck as far as the time we have to wait but the biggest takeaway for me is that this looks like something we used to have in the past with the player profiles, and that stuff so I'm very happy about that. I'd rather them take the time to get it right versus rush it out and have to fix more things down the road.

I know there's people who are going to disagree with that but it is what it is and all we can do is hope it delivers. Twitter is probably going crazy with posts like "I told you EA couldn't get it done in time" and things like that. Guess I'm staying off Twitter to let them all yell and be angry about it [emoji28]

On the brightside, we don't have to use my suggestion of having a "classic" save for the old scouting system. Looks like EA will give you the option when you make the franchise

I will take you having a polished product when you actually release the game. What's so wrong about that. They make huge profit so if they wanted to they can use the resources needed to make it happen. This is pathetic and definitely not fair to consumers. Especially this was my huge reason to buy. That and franchise and the franchise still has the bugs and still not right and the game been out for a month

They have the resources, they have the budget... why are they failing short on what looks to be an easy goal of theirs? It's not like this scouting update is bringing in text sim types of depth, here
