Home court advantage?

So if you follow sports like at all you know that home teams play better. Even bad teams tend to win more home games than road games. In video games it doesn't really matter if you are home or road with how you play. Just wondering does anyone do anything with sliders to try to make it kind of like a home court advantage vs like disadvantage? Like change some sliders when playing on the road vs at home? Does anyone know like what all the hustle slider does in the game? Is it just fast breaks or does it do more?

In the English Premier league last season due to covid for the first time ever the road teams won more games than the home teams because no fans were present. But with fans it is clear and obvious that there is a significant advantage to the home team. I thought that there was some kind of home advantage in Nba 2k games? I could be wrong but I always had the impression it was already implemented into the game in some form?

It definitely used to be in the game. All the way back to maybe even 2k2 I can't recall exactly.
There was even an option to turn it off/on some years I believe.

The hustle slider determines their ability to get to loose balls. Ive been banging on about home court for years.

There’s lots of ways to implement it.

Flat attribute buffs or nerfs.

Badges.

The madden gimmick.

It definitely should be part of a simple experience for offline modes.

I thought it already was a factor. Doesn’t feel like it, but I’d heard a while ago apparently they give home court advantages.

I know Madden has like a home field thing but I don't know how well it works and figured it was likely a gimmick.

The game literally has a "Home Court" rating attached to teams in MyNBA, but it makes no difference to gameplay. I think minor adjustments to sliders or something along those lines depending on the "Home Court" rating for a team would be pretty genius.

For example, the 2019-2020 Bucks went 30-5 at home... 30-5. That will never happen in a MyNBA season.

Really? So they have that but it's like they don't has it don't do anything lol. Something that would be interesting is if you have say a really talented team but young team or something if the difference between home and road would be bigger then if you had a talented but older team.
