Also, does anyone have the thread where someone found what types of players' attributes improve the most? It showed how much attributes improve for Speed vs Power RB and so on.

Most important attributes in Online Dynasty
I'm not talking about for simming or for against CPU's, I'm asking about players on your team that are controlled by the CPU during games (OL, DL if usering LB or DB, etc.) What attributes are most important to winning against users in Online Dynasties. I like to user the MLB or safeties, so what attributes should I look for on the defensive line? Do Power Moves and Finesse Moves mean anything if you don't user them?

I believe the most important rating for every player is Awareness. I believe this might be a misleading name and "Consistency" might be better. I've had 90 man coverage CBs who were worse at man coverage than a mid-80's when the 90's had an Awareness in the 60's and the 80's had an awareness 10+ points higher. I believe the same holds true in every other facet I've investigated. Have a QB that throws a ball to the left hash when the intended receiver is on the right hash when in a clean pocket? Each time I've been frustrated by that and I checked the Awareness confirms my suspicion.
My other 2¢.
Defensive personnel: Tackling.
Offensive line: Impact blocking. Like Awareness, this effects the run and pass blocking.
Defensive line: Block Shedding. I believe this helps with either the power or fitness moves.
Offensive Skill: Acceleration. This helps receivers get open and RBs get through the hole.
Wide Receiver: Route running and catching.
Runningback: Elusiveness (carrying would be here if position players fumbled as they do in real life).
Quarterback: Passing Accuracy.
A lot of your defenders other attribute importance are based on the type of defense you want to run. Like Receivers, I think Acceleration is important in pass coverage as much as it is in receivers getting open.
I do not have any charted evidence to support this. It is empirical evidence from playing this game for nearly a decade. When I think "that DE is better than his overall led me to believe he is", Awareness, Block Shedding, and Tackling always seem to be among the higher ratings the player possesses.
I look forward to reading other responses to this thread. -
Re: Most important attributes in Online Dynasty
For QB's Strength is very important. It unlocks ball trajectories that are restricted for weak QBs. Throw power is how fast the ball moves through the air, but neither affect the distance a QB can throw.
For Defenders, Play Rec and Man coverage are pretty much the same. These combined with Awareness are what determine whether a defender will get juked by a receiver's route.
For RB's, strength is super important as well. It determines the success of broken tackles equally if not more than Break Tackle or Trucking.
Hope this helps. I discovered this all from another thread but I can't remember what it's called.Comment

Re: Most important attributes in Online Dynasty
I am not sure this relates to online dynasty, but I have really started to dive into the defensive part of this game. Since college football season is over, I want to really learn defense. I created a spreadsheet that has my players' names, position, attribute heading, and score for each attribute. I set it up to take the average of the most important attributes for that specific position. I use this to set up my blitzing LBs versus my coverage LBs. I find my best man versus coverage players. I think the info that has been shared here so far is spot on. Awareness is key. Getting your best players related to their best attributes in the best spots on the field matters. I used to just look at speed and nothing else. Well, speed is not really a deciding factor for a DE. I have learned a lot, and I know it's just a game, but it is really the only sport I follow.Comment
