All of a sudden MyNBA starts crashing while a game tries to load

I dunno what happened, never had this problem before and I’ve played almost 30 full games. I’m running MyNBA with custom rosters and all of a sudden, when I try to play, as the game loads to play, it just sits on that loading screen then crashes. Play now seems to work but even that crashed once. If I go to play now and play a game then exit out and try MyNBA again, the screen that shows the players and where you can select jerseys etc. just goes black.

I’m running version 2.0.0.15. Is that the new Xbox update? This blows.

I'm thinking the latest patch is mostly updates to stuff for the Season 2 of the city and Myteam, but probably affecting other modes negatively.


That's just a guess. Another blow to MyNBA

Unbelievable. Anyone else having this issue? Now one has to wonder if it’ll be fixed or our existing mynbas are trashed.

I haven't tested this yet, but there's another new issue. You can't select a team when joining or creating a MyNBA league online. This is insulting...

Worst quality control in a product I’ve witnessed.

I’m halfway through a season and gotta trash the whole thing cause of some random bug? It’s like 2K finds innovative bugs to introduce. Like WTF could have messed up an existing MyNBA? It’s beyond me.

I don’t know if it’s happening to anyone else but it’s definitely happening here and I can’t find a way around it. But curious to see if it’s happening to anyone else and wth I can do to fix it.

I can confirm at least that it is impossible to start a new MyNBA file (at least online). When you select your team, you get the message saying that team is not available. In the past this was a server error that you could bypass by quitting out and loading back in (you'd enter right into the main league hub as the team you selected).
Now however, when loading back in you are still stuck on the team select screen and unable to advance.

Also it appears I can SIM games. But it crashes when I try to play as it just stalls on the loading screen. I even tried “clearing the cache.”

Even if I select another team, it still does it.

If I start a new MyNBA, it works. But my existing one won’t even get into a game.

That gives me hope that it’s a widespread problem (and not just some anomaly on my saved file). But then what’s weird is how an offline NEW MyNBA seemed to at least advance into a game for me. But not my existing saves.

F’ing annoying. Each update worse than the last.

What a disgusting disgrace all this is, truly. These devs are flat out terrible at their jobs. I bought every 2K from 2003 until last year. This is second year in a row I’m not buying this filth. The devs don’t care as they are all rich. Just pathetic. What a disgusting piece of trash this game is for the second year in a row. Fully broke .

Games are not registering in mynba online after they are finished. When you try to sim the games, it stays "in progress" in perpetuity. Injuries cant be cleared from edit player. These are definately unintended consequences of the patch. Hopefully 2k addresses them soon.

Unreal. Here we go again, I either have to cross my fingers and wait for them to fix their problem, which means I can’t play the game until they do, and course I have no idea if it’ll even fix my MyNBA, or start a new MyNBA and throw my old one with all that time put in to waste. These guys really know how to create an experience for us.

I guess meantime it’s good thing I bought Madden recently. You know it’s bad when Madden becomes a sanctuary in comparison

Is ANYONE having this specific issue? I wonder if it has to do with me deleting all G league players in my custom roster which forced the game to auto generate other fake players for the league. Maybe something isn’t lining up there?

But simming games works fine. Games just won’t play.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. Even simming games crashes the game.
