So I am in week 9 of my 2nd season of Dallas Cowboys online 1 team franchise. Cowboys at Green Bay. I go to play season game. Once the game starts the commentary starts as normal, but they say something about the Cowboys facing off against the reigning AFC Champs. Not only that, the picture is stuck on a shot of the grass. I have to hold X to advance. Then it shows Lambeau Field with the Dallas Cowboys vs Dallas Cowboys. I try to exit the game and it gets stuck on the load screen and I have to restart the PS5. I tried several times to advance week and just Sim the game. It would also freeze on the load screen. Finally it let me advance week so hopefully I can continue on with my franchise. Just thought it was weird and I haven't seen anyone else mention this bug. I guess I need to figure out how to report it to EA sports.

I actually came here to see if anyone else had experienced this. I had the game freeze at the conclusion of a game...while loading back to the franchise home screen. Upon restart, the game was wiped. I went to Upgrade Players screen and had to quit the game and reload. It will freeze at that screen every time now. If I go to restart the game which is Dolphins (me) vs Giants, the game loads as Dolphins vs. Dolphins. I even saw the same thing with the camera stuck on the grass pre game. Game is all kinds of messed up and accumulates all stats for a single player (so if home team Tua throws a TD, then away team Tua does....he's got 2 TDs in the stats. When away team Dolphins score, a banner for the Giants would pop up. Haven't tried to just sim it yet because I have an XFactor upgrade on the line in this game. So weird.... -

This type of freeze has been reported before and the best I have for you is there is the theory that there is something (uniform,graphic) that is not loading improperly that causes a memory leak that doesn’t allow the game the resources to continue.
The only work around I can tell you is that once you stop seeing the cut scenes and penalty/quarter flash screens is to manually exit the game and let it save. When you reload the game it might be better but to be safe, about 2 minutes before the game ends, exit out and reload it again. It seems to give enough memory for the game to exit and end.
This keeps on popping up during the Jets/Giants preseason game.Comment
