Re: Shot meter help
Do not follow the movement of the shot meter. Just use it as kind of feedback and shoot by the shooting animation and/or your muscle memory. Online it doesn't even work that you "watch" the shot meter to release the shot because of the delay.Comment

Re: Shot meter help
This. I have mainly played offline and I can tell you that the latency or lag in the meter online is bad. It's like I have to relearn the release point because the meter doesn't stop when I release the button or stick. I know this has been a 2K issue for years. Even the NBA games in My Career are similar to offline games. Once I go to the parks and indoor courts, it's a totally different game because of meter latency and lag in player movement. It's not my internet.Comment

Re: Shot meter help
But you must know/practice your players release. I'm mainly a H2H guy. So I know multiple releases [emoji23]. I spend a lot of time in freestyle. But for the most part. I can pick any random players shot in about 2-3 jumpers.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Shot meter help
Don't use the meter to shoot. Pay attention to the shooting animation when you're shooting and use the results of the meter as feedback.
If it's coming back late/early, adjust accordingly so that you are releasing the button during the appropriate part of the animation.
It also helps to pay attention to your player's feet, and recognizing when the shooting animation is actually going to start.Comment

But your have problems with anyone. Just hit the gym with them. Once I get a shot down. Only if they change the animation will I have to hit the gym again.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories
