    NBA 2K22 2001-02 Season Roster

Hey there guys. It's been a long time since I have contributed to the community. I used to make retro and college courts for NBA 2K16, but this year decided to tackle a retro roster. I have recreated the 2001-02 season for the PS5 and posted it for y'all. I had to create A LOT of players, but every team should have their core roster represented. I want to next create a bunch of free agents to fill out the teams. Right now all rosters are on the current version of their team, meaning the logos and floors don't match up for most. I have been working on exporting all of those and will provide details for how to get them. I will eventually copy the Wizards, Warriors, and other teams with retro courts to their retro spots in a future update.

For now, grab the roster and play like it's 2001!

I updated ages on the Thunder/Sonics, Blazers, and Warriors. I also removed current NBA players from Free Agents and added players from that era. I still need to address those free agents' ages and ratings. I started creating some of the team designs for those not properly represented, like the Cavs.

That's a great idea. I plan on starting a MyTeam with these and will give it a look. I was amazed by the number of giant men on every team as a way to counter Shaq. Everyone had somebody 6'11 and 260lbs. The Suns had at least three guys. It was such a different league then and one I honestly didn't watch as much. Scores in the 80s.... should be interesting.

So I downloaded this roster last night. And overall it's really good. There are somethings that are off. 1. Minnesota's ages are way off. Pretty much every other team is good.

There are some ratings anomalies, that stick out to me.
                    1. Mitch Richmond for the lakers. He was an end of the bench guy in that year. I think he's like an 82. He should be a low 70s at best. I'd also bump Devean George to a 73-74

                    2. Derek Anderson on the Blazers- comically low at 68. He was basically Portland's 6th man that year. like a 78ish rating should be where he's at.

                    3. Chauncy Billups on the Twolves- Way too high at an 89. The next year in detroit this should be his rating. But he should be around an 80 in 01-02. He had a mini-breakout in Minny but wasn't the chauncy we know until the following year in Detroit.

Also, in MyNBA there are some teams that are so hard to find good early 2000s team rebrands. Any suggestions for that?

I really appreciate the feedback! I updated the items you mentioned. If you see any other issues, let me know.

What team identities are you having trouble with?
