I'm back!

This is a port of the PS3 community rosters from this forum to the Playstation 2 system for 2021 Season.

2021 Rosters as of Dec 12, 2021 for Playstation 2.

The "NCAA 2021 PS2" pack includes both of these:
SLUS-21214 is NCAA 2006 INCLUDES FBS and FCS
SLUS-21932 is NCAA 2011

Also available now:

Dec 7th Roster update:
fixes capitalizations and should see more hair/face combos. Also uses latest End of Reg Season roster set!


The FCS Roster for NCAA06 updates the FBS teams that are in FCS in this game: Appalachian State, Texas State, UMass, and Western Kentucky. Other FCS schools have auto-named players.

The Revamped Roster has Idaho's roster as Appalachian State's current roster, so if you want to play as App State but do not want to put them in your Dynasty, they are already there This means, Idaho does not exist, and there is technically now two Appalachian State teams in this game if you use the FCS Roster update as well.



Installation:

Zip file includes MAX file for ActionReplay MAX Drive, and PSU file for FreeMcBoot/uLaunchELF. You may also use MyMC to import MAX files to your virtual memory cards. For other transfer tools, you may use PS2 Save Builder to convert saves to another format.

2021 DYNASTY MOD
My 2021 Season Dynasty Mod is now available for preview. It is part of the NCAA 06 NEXT Full Mod, but you can get it here now:

Other Mods

2021 Coach file for Dynasty Mode
I attached a new COCH file for 2021 Coaches for the most part. Playbooks, offense and defenses and their tendencies are updated, as well as career wins, losses, and of course names. There may be bugs! I havent tested this extensively!

This needs to be imported into your Dynasty file. I recommend backing up and testing first! Make sure before you import to edit the CFUC (User Coach) column. Add a 1 to the coach you want to control. You can control all of them by making every coach 1. 0 means its CPU controlled. Make sure you set it back to 0 after you do any customizations to prevent any bugs.

I made a FCS Roster update for NCAA 06 as well which just updates the FBS teams that are in FCS in this game: Appalachain State, Texas State, UMass, and Western Kentucky.

I'll upload this later today when it's finalized.


After that, I'll probably make a NCAA 2006 dynasty mod of some sort. No promises though, because this is pretty time consuming and I have limited time nowadays.

I'm going to miss playing as bruce gradkowski, at least daquan finn has some speed, finn was throwing dots on my twitch live stream i was toledo playing against bowling green, and bryant koback was running all over that defense. anyway i'm just glad your back.

Thanks, these look great. I will showcase these on my channel for you. OVR ratings for certain positions like FB, TE, and DE get inflated once you go to the depth chart (yes their OVR change from roster screen to depth chart screen), but that's something out of your control.

Too bad EA wouldn't let us edit certain dynasty aspects outside of the mode like coaches and stuff to match the rosters. You may know a way around that. Thanks again!

Looks like certain ratings like Break Tackle and Carry are higher than normal for TE and DE which causes higher ratings for those I guess. I don't think this is a big deal though. I understand that converting 14 rosters to 06 won't completely sync. And since this happens to every team, you can't get a cheesy advantage over your opponent anyways.

If it makes you feel better, the last time I played with my school (Washington), we had just gotten off being 4th ranked and now we can't beat Montana or Colorado and barely beat Arizona.

As far as TE/DE ratings, yea I know you've brought that up in the past @volwalker . I haven't really figured a good way to do it unless I just give their ratings a sweeping dip in rating value. The TE position has changed quite a bit in the past 15 years, which probably leads to the overinflation.

You can edit coaches, once you start a dynasty. You have to go back in and open your save file in Madden DB Editor and edit the COCH table in the save. I started an update with real names, but didn't do much more. Some of the playbooks are more accurate as of 2018, but I hadn't updated it for current year in a csv file.

This CSV can be imported into that COCH table. You just need to edit the CFUC column so that "1" is under the right team. It's defaulted to Washington.

Right, you can edit all the coaches in a dynasty but it gets old doing that every time for a new dynasty file. I would almost want to create a 2021 dynasty file for that purpose if the process was easier. Me being ocd on playbooks, I could never decide which team had what lol.
