Fatigued players
So, just picked up the game finally. I think the new fatigue system is pretty neat. However, what I don't find neat is my starters not returning, more specifically my rb. It seems Zeke plays 1 half and then he's done. Do they come back in? If not, can I manually do it?

Re: Fatigued players
Try turning progressive fatigue off. Then go to autosubs and set rb and wr to sub out at 25 and sub in at 30. From what I've been reading this is a temporary band aid until EA fixes it. They're reportedly still working on itSo, just picked up the game finally. I think the new fatigue system is pretty neat. Re: Fatigued players
Yeah I came across that in another post after I made mine. Seems to work for the most part

Re: Fatigued players
Yeah, they gotta get this worked out soon. It sounds like a very immersive feature in practice, so I'd like to see the kinks worked out.
Not only that, but these specific SS abilities mean nothing until it's fixed:
Backlash - Tacklers getting more fatigued with Non-Con tackles on the carrier that has it.
Deflator - Non-Con Tackles giving an increased Fatigue Penalty to carriers.
Crusher - Hit Sticks from the player that has it give a considerable fatigue penalty on the carrier.
These SS abilites give that extra fear aspect and team managent during games.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
It's the AI players that become the problem. It's no fun winning against a team playing OL at TE and WR and their fullback taking all the carries.Comment

I dunno.... I ran sims for this and I still see Starters missing in the latter parts of the season.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
CPU progressive fatigue works until around Week 12 when they start becoming slightly fatigued and as weeks go by and especially once you get into the playoffs you'll see players being subbed out after a few plays and the game becomes much easier against the CPU teams.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
Does this glitch hold true regardless of which roster set you use? I just picked up the game and noticed it with the EA rosters. I was wondering if a downloaded set would do the same thing or if it they fix the issue.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
No it's a game bug not related to rosters.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
I'd rather do that to keep things even than shut down prog fatigue overall. I'm just anthropomorphizing the approach as I am "delegating it to the positional coaches".
Won't be for everyone....but it works for me.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
The game plays much more competitive with fatigue off. It becomes too easy to play against the computer near the end of the season due to computer teams even being slightly fatigued.
The fatigue slows down the computer defenders, which makes it easier to complete passes. CPU players can also disappear during the playoffs, such as the FB replacing the RB and an OL replacing the TE.
I don't plan on ever using this feature again for future franchises, but my only concern is if the ratings for all of the players will eventually get inflated throughout the league due to the setting of automatically using full pads without fatigue turned on.Comment

Re: Fatigued players
I just started playing around with letting the CPU manage the practice reps for my guys. I still set the gameplan but the AI sets who gets the reps and the practice intensity. Even in week 3, I had noticed that they had set a couple positions to split reps.

I didn't even know you could have the CPU control your reps.Comment

Looks like you can still go into manage reps and see what the CPU has set, per Josh's post. You just want to leave them as recommended to get the same as the CPU teams.Comment
