Man look at how hype that simple intro was. The energy in that place and how they treated it felt like a game 7 Finals game. Insane.

Crazy the Bulls swept prime Shaq 60-22 Magic (with the league leading 3 point shooter outside) in the playoffs that year. GOAT work.

It ain’t even nostalgia, the energy of modern games just ain’t that intense or lacking that super special sense of occasion. Feels more relaxed overall now. To me that regular season energy felt more hype than any Finals game I’ve seen in recent years. And guarantee the ratings of that game was higher than any recent Finals game in years too.
