I have a question for anyone who plays NCAA: is there a reason that some players seem to play far above their OVR? Nate Morant has been just going CRAZY so far, and he’s like 55 OVR, fourth on the depth chart. (I line up mostly in shotguns so he gets a lot of playing time.) And it’s not like I use money plays either, more often than not I just see some guy running 5 yards ahead of his defender, wide open, and when he catches it it’s Morant. The same could be said for Hector Morris, he’s around 58 OVR but plays like an 80 OVR. Is that me, the AI being bad, or some quirk I’m not aware of? I’ve checked the ratings and there’s nothing that seems to be special about them.


I used to think it was bad teams’ cornerbacks being trash, but as you’ll see he continued his success against Pitt. And again, I’m not choosing money plays or plays designed for him to get the ball.
