    Serious Question #6

Why after all these years hasn't server consistency for online play been fixed. The online lag has been plaguing the game for years and to me 22 next gen (Xbox Series X) seems worse than any year. EA may get a bad rap sometimes but even Madden 19, Madden 20, Madden 21 still have consistent online gameplay.

Even NBA Live 19 still has consistent online gameplay and it's a few years old.

    Serious Question #7

Will defensive players ever have real foot planting mechanics to keep up with the offensive players' ability to change directions. The sliding on defense sometimes can cause a defensive player to end up behind the offensive player he's guarding from just simply moving the stick.

    Serious Question #8

Is this game gonna always depend on badges to do simple stuff? For instance, the hustler badge. It helps players go after loose balls quicker. Why? If I have a player rated 99 speed and my opponent has a player rated 80 speed and he has on the hustler badge and I don't, he has a chance to get the loose ball before I do even though I'm faster and headed in the same direction. It makes no sense. My player gets slowed down because I don't have the badge to run after a loose ball.

Mazique has great knowledge around all the modes in the game…always love hearing his perspective..

      5 legitimate questions!!

Regarding #5, I actually really liked The City this year. I hope they flesh out more single player elements for it in 2K23.

To me it’s a great mix between rising to the top of the NBA and story elements..

Why did they not include “Start today”
For the ps5 version? Makes no sense. Last gen has the option.

i love this game ex for the shooting part i can fix it but the losing makes me play better find more ways to win it's a nice mix of sim and arcade

i would like the NBA let 2k release the park my career as a its own game

that way both sides would have their own games to play

I think Question #1 provides you with the answer to all your other questions. MyNBA is just not optimized (online or offline). So many little bugs. They need to optimize their current game features before they start adding all these new ones.

Question 2-5 are more questions of focus and personal taste TBH.

For 2 they were leaning on what Yukes already made. I’m hoping next years WWE doesn't fall apart, because there were some rough glitches in terms of creations in 2K20

Getting play calling controls simplified. No one wants to d pad up down around to call a play. It should be a simple button combo.

And sometimes subs and on the fly strategy changes are unavailable until you inbound the ball. Shouldn’t the best times for this menu be when… the ball is dead? Or I should be able to que a timeout quicker than it allows too.

Coaching profile/adjustments should save for online games so no one needs to watch pause screens. Timeout menus are unnecessarily complicated. And everything you can adjust in the pause menu should be available in timeout.

Frame rate feels terrible on next gen compared to last. But if the play calling isn’t revamped I’m not going to buy this. There’s no reason that poor on the fly system should have been released on one game let alone two.

The badge system feels very haphazard and messy. Like they started it with some semblance of organization but it got ahead of them and now they don’t know how to reign it in.

Why does a guy with a 78 shooting rating but HOF badges shoot better with a 99 rating in the same field but no badges? Badges should boost individual ratings for consistencies sake at the very least.
