    SlyBelle's Sliders - NHL 2022 - Xbox Series X

Thought I would post these for anyone interested, have been getting good games along with realistic penalties. I have been using these in my season as I have managed Pittsburgh, resulting in a 7-10-4 record. My record does cover various versions of these sliders, although the versions haven't changed drastically. Originally started with this slider base (https://diamondlobby.com/nhl-22/set-...liders-nhl-22/) and then tweaked for my play style. Not at all suggesting these are for everyone but for the first time in many versions I am really enjoying the games I play, which is saying a lot since never held my attention this long.

    Few notes:

    - I am not a great player so a number of changes are meant to assist the human player.
    - Although goalie sliders are strongly slanted towards the human, you can see with my record it doesn't seem to mean much. Even maxed out the computer scores on me in a realistic fashion.
    - Getting good penalty numbers, even to the degree where I might reduce things. On average get 3-4 penalties per game per team and even at times have seen as much as 7 called on one team. Of course my aggressive play style may influence the penalties being called as ewell
    - Shots on goal seem good, usually see in the upper 20's to 30's.

oh! I am intrigued. I have just finished manually playing a full 82 game season with the diamondlobby sliders. I will try your tweaked version for the coming season!

        Thanks a lot SlyBelle!

I tried a lot of sliders, also did it by myself. These (with some little tweaks) are the best sliders for NHL 22 so far. With some rosters from the community for the xbox one, Franchise mode plays incredible well.

I get realistic results (my last five games) in my Detroit Franchise:
        0:3
        2:3
        4:1
        5:2
        3:0

14-14-4 for the season, as well as realistic shots (always between 20 and 40), and penalties (for each team around 2-5 per game). Goalies are around 90.9!

        Absolutely fantastic.
Btw. with the new rosters Larkin, Bertuzzi and Raymond all have around the same amount of points as in real life. 1ppg.

Glad they are working out for some, they continue to be a solid foundation for me as well. Although with some of the latest patches and me just getting better, I might have to do some minor tweaks to increase difficulty a bit. By far the most I have played NHL game in years and largely because I am getting good results with penalties and stats.

The game plays so much better with attributes at 9 or 10. I cannot go back to 5, something just seems wrong with it at 5. Great sliders, will have to tweak a few things to more my liking, but great base.

I plugged these in and realized that they were almost perfect. I played 6 games and went 6-0-0 and all were 6-2, 6-3, 5-2, 5-1. i scored a lot of goals.

I just now played the 7th game after changing a few minor things:
faceoff at 50. it makes for more TOI for the AI and it seems to impact the shots against a little bit.
CPU strategy at 6/6. if I'm in the lead the AI team will push harder towards the end of the game for an equalizer, just like real life. impacts shots against in a good way.
Most important change is the change to aggression. the AI seems to be pretty passive and just let me attack the goal without any pushback. I raised aggression to 60 for both HUM and CPU and it had a positive effect.

in the 7th game after making these changes,
Shots were equal. score was much closer. 3-1 win for me but i had to work for it and 3rd goal was empty net from the red line.

I also agree that Attribute effect seems to be best at 9 or 10. i prefer 10 to truly create that separation between a 4th liner and a 1st line superstar.

One drawback i found with upping the aggression is that the AI seem to take insane amount of penalties, particularly holding and interference calls. gonna have to turn the aggression down a bit to balance that.

@SlyBelle: Will you do another Slider set for NHL 23? They worked super well for me last year.

I am rolling with these same sliders so far in 2023...working Ok so far, getting Penalties and have had a few good games. If I notice anything crazy, I'll likely just tweak these a little bit, if there is a reason. I recommend starting with these and seeing how they work for you. Certainly wont be for everyone, but make last year's game enjoyable for me and hope the same this year

I am vowing not to get overly fixated on sliders, just want to enjoy the game....
