NHL 22 Franchise mode Draft lottery question

Hi

Does anyone know whether the draft lottery in franchise mode in NHL22 is randomly generated within a season or will it always be the same teams that win the lottery or the same placed team that wins the lottery? Has anyone tried to see if the results will be different?

For example, lets assume that the season ends and the lottery seeding is
1) Arizona
2) Ottawa
3) Seattle
4) Columbus
etc

Will it always be for example Seattle and Ottawa winning the lottery in this case no matter how many times you reload a previous save just before the season ends?

In the other example is that always for example, the 3rd seeded team always wins the 1st pick and the 5th seeded team wins the 2nd pick no matter what?

I reloaded my save about five times and the result of the lottery was the same in all my reloads. I saved the game at 16th june in-game and simmed to the lottery each time.

Did a few test sims over the past couple of weeks, and can confirm that the seeding is auto generated (at some point during the season?), so it basically just depends on who's where in the standings.

I think the last one that I did, I created a save file at the trade deadline, and simmed 7 or 8 times to get to the draft. 1 OA stayed, 8 OA finished second, then it went in order from there.

I'm not super concerned about winning the lotto, but it'd be nice for it to be random.

Thanks everybody for the replies. I heard that the draft order was set and wasn't quite random.
