1991-2021 Alumni roster

This roster contains all 33 Alumni teams with no duplicate players.

They consist of 26 man teams. 5LW, 5C, 5RW, 8D and 3G.

90% of the players in this roster played parts of, or all of their career from 1991, on through to 2021. There are a few players that retired before the 1991 season sprinkled in, but they are primarily on the Whalers, North Stars, Nordiques and Jets as those franchises folded or moved not long after 1991, and finding players that I wasn’t using on other teams was difficult.

In addition to the Alumni teams, I created 12 other teams. They consist of 4 All-Star teams and 8 National teams.

All the players equipment, attributes, X-Factor abilities and salaries have been edited.

The best way to use this roster is in Season Mode. Select 32 team control and apply ALL the teams to user after you have replaced the NHL teams. Then play the 1st as the Home team, the 2nd as the Away team, and sim the rest. Thats what I’ve done the last few years. It’s a blast.

There are a couple of guys that retired before 91 sprinkled in here and there. Like 25-30 at most. They are mainly on the North Stars, Whalers, Nordiques and Jets as those teams folded not long after 1991 and it was tough to find players I hadn’t used on other teams.

Still, the rosters are good.

That's great. I started watching in 1988, so a few guys from the 80's will be very welcome.

It’s been tough for me to get them done as I don’t have tons of time to work on them as I’d like, and I’m still dealing with frequent crashes, but I’d say I’m like 95% done and was hoping to get them up by Monday.

Forgot to mention that in addition to the Alumni Teams, I’ve also made 2 All-Star teams, 2 old school Alumni teams, and 8 National teams as well.

Well, I’m pretty much finished, but now I have to wait because EA added the pass/shoot slider to existing players in tomorrows patch.

That being said, hopefully I’ll be able to go through those in a day or two, so I’m really hoping to get these rosters up by Sunday.

Also, I’m probably going to be releasing this same set but without X-Factor abilities. With all the attribute editing I did, there is plenty of player separation. Also, we didn’t have X-Factors last year and the stats at the end of my season were good. The superstars played like superstars and the bangers played like bangers and their stats reflected that.

Life keeps throwing me curveballs. Remember, I’m doing this all on my own and whenever I have some downtime. Trust me. These rosters do exist. And I’m hoping to get them out soon.

I know I’ve said “this Sunday” like 3 times already, but I’m hoping this is it. So Sunday is the target day. Not sure when on Sunday tho.

That's right man, no one is complaining. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we are just very excited to see your work.


I've done projects like this for Madden, PES, NBA2k and NR2003 in the past and I know it's very time consuming.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get too much time to work on them this weekend, so they won’t be done today. Soon though.

I was so close to finishing them, but then I realized a mistake I made in my attribute edits, so I had to go back and redo every player on every team.

I’m on my Rangers as I type right now, and I t takes about 40-60 minutes to edit a full team, so that leaves OTT thru WPG. That’s 11 teams to go. Figuring I only get 3-4 hours a day to work on them, we’re looking at Wednesday to Thursday. That’s if I rush through it, which my OCD won’t allow. We’re looking at this weekend as the most likely time I’ll be finished.

Thanks for being patient and just to let you all know, I am not annoyed or angry with anyone. If I were in your shoes I’d be chomping at the bit for these rosters too. Again thanks for being patient and the kind words to help light a fire under my butt.
