    Madden 22 Underrated Franchise Players

Didn’t see this thread anywhere so decided to create it. Simple question, who are your underrated gem players who seem to play above there ability for your franchise. Perhaps a lower rated LE who is causing havoc for the CPU QB, or a mid rated RB who is on course for a 1500 yard season.

Interested to hear of your experiences with players over the course of your franchise.

AJ Dillon is a monster. He breaks so many tackles but I don't know if I would call him underrated.

Haha Clinton Dix at sub linebacker. Decent enough at coverage and can really well.

MLB Blake Cashman (Jets) is still my boy. He is like a 72 OVR, so he can move in a trade for barely anything. I had a pick 6 and a 4th down TFL with him in the Conference Championship game after my starting MLB got hurt.

MLB Devin Bush is a beast! Fast and great in coverage.
RB Zack Moss, easily turned him into an X-Factor even while splitting carries. And he hasn't fumbled in 2 and a half seasons!

Not really underrated but if you switch Deebo to RB he’s a 99

Alex Anzalone always plays like a Pro Bowler in my franchise. I notice him as an opponent. He's a superb tackler, gets big hits, and he's got great range in coverage. He remains a valuable asset despite his OVR for at least 2 years in franchise mode.

My issue with him is he always got hurt for me.

Loved reading everyone’s post so far.

Alex Anzalone sounds interesting. Wish he had worked out like that for us in real life lol. I need some depth at Linebacker so might check him out.

In year 1 (2022/2023 Season) of my Dolphins Franchise. I simmed the 21/22 season to catch up to real life. Zach Sieler has been great for me so far. He is massive and has a great bull rush despite his low OVR. Has been clutch for me in some important moments a d is commanding double teams from the CPU which allows Ed Oliver who I traded for to wreck havoc. Got a great pairing going on.

Yeah, I've not had him on my own teams, and I know he has durability issues, but man, when I play against him, I FEEL it!

McKinney on MIA (LB) is another one of these guys. He destroys me every time I play them.

Eric Rowe is also sneaky good. He's not super low rated, but he's not a superstar either, yet he provides lockdown coverage from the SS position that makes it hard to work the TE. He can eliminate the whole route tree, and he can pick you off.

Exactly! I gave him a shot when he was FA in my franchise and he was hurt ever time I turned around. I let him leave at the end of the year...

Traded for Patrick Queen star development got him to x-factor by the end of the season.

Fast agile MLB worth picking up at 22

Kene Nwangu, RB for the Vikings. Fast and good ACC. He is perfect for a wide zone or spread scheme. He can be had for a mid round draft pick or pretty much any other spare part at a position of need for the Vikings.
