My Custom 2022 Offseason Roster Has Returned to Xbox Series X/S...

My 1st official Offseason Roster release is now available 2 posts below.

On the horizon:

- March 10th - Start working on NFL Draft Prospects After Combine
These prospects will not be visible for quite a while as I will have a separate roster being worked on. I will have previews and open discussion however leading up to the draft for Community Input.

- March 13th & 14th - Free Agency
The day before official free agency (the 14th) I will release all UFAs into free agency and update depth charts accordingly. I will be adding free agents daily with proper years/contracts. ERFAs and RFAs will remain on their teams until their contract situations are finalized.

- April 28th - NFL Draft (2 Rosters will be available - one with and one without the Draft included)

If you're aware of any depth chart or general issues with your favorite teams on Madden's final roster update, let me know please and I will address it ASAP.

I can definitely help with ratings if wanted. I get tired of too many older free agents who haven’t played in 2 years getting signed in franchise mode.
There are quite a few underrated players too (ex. Bengals).

In order to find the roster, you will need to search by Gamer Tag [EA fixed some of their Community Download problems, but not all of them].

Roster Update: 02/18/22

- FB/TE John Lovett signed to the Dolphins
- DL Daeshon Hall signed to the Dolphins
- DL Kingsley Keke signed to the Texans [claimed off waivers]
- DL Da'Shawn Hand signed to the Titans [claimed off waivers]
- CB Essang Bassey signed to the Broncos [claimed off waivers]
- FS Juju Hughes signed to the Lions [claimed off waivers]
- P Corliss Waitman signed to the Broncos [claimed off waivers]

- OLB/Edge Dante Fowler released from the Falcons

Retirements:

- QB Tom Brady, QB Ben Roethlisberger & S Eric Weddle have been lowered to 12 OVR and placed in free agency after announcing their Retirements. By being lowered to 12 OVR they will not be signed randomly in Franchise Mode. This also leaves them available for any user to continue to play with them if they so choose.

LT Andrew Whitworth [Rams] is on watch also...

Reserve/Future Signings:

- All 32 NFL Teams had their future/reserve signings added to their teams. With the exception of the Detroit Lions (maximum roster spots filled) all teams should have their players added AS LONG AS THEY EXIST IN MADDEN. I'm not creating players that don't officially exist in the game.

Misc. Roster Edits & Changes:

* The following players have been lowered to 12 OVR in Free Agency for various reasons:
- CB Damon Arnette [Facing Jail Time]
- WR Henry Ruggs III [Facing Prison Time]
- SS Reshad Jones [Unofficially retired. Injuries won't allow him to play.]

- LB Frankie Luvu [Panthers] & FB Jason Cabinda [Lions] had their contracts extended to 2-years. Reminder: I can correct the contractual years but I have zero ability to control salaries.

Defensive Scheme Change:

- The Chicago Bears have been converted to a 4-3 Defense on the roster. The switch has been announced for the 2022-23 Season. Depth Charts have been corrected as well. You will need to switch to a 4-3 scheme in Franchise Mode depending on your coach usage.

i am also watched to see who signes on the USFL feb 22/23

denver will have GB off playbook and the Rams def playbook


expect to see at least 100-200 players that will be active on NFL 90-man rosters be deleted for madden 23 because they only have 112 CAPS and counted last season they made around 330 rookies for madden 22

my point is for those vets that get deleted save madden 22 so when 23 comes out u can add the missing pieces yourself

Here's a summary of tonight's roster revision. Updates will be slower for the time being only because the NFL is focused on finalizing coaching staff changes. After that however, it's nothing but player changes from there so I'll be much more active at that time.

Roster Update: 02/21/22

- RB Dalvin Cook jersey switched to #4. (He confirmed the change last night in an interview.)

- CB Marvell Tell III re-signed to the Colts. (Still awaiting his contract details).

- SS Ricardo Allen [Bengals] released to free agency with a 12 OVR. He announced his retirement. I also included RG Brandon Brooks [Eagles] since he also announced his a while back, but I forgot. I went through free agency and included a few more players who are unofficially done with their careers as well. As a reminder, they're a 12 OVR to avoid being signed in Franchise Mode, but these players can still have their ratings adjusted and used again if you choose.

- All 32 NFL teams had their depth charts adjusted/reviewed tonight. There are plenty of training camp battles that have already been announced by their coaching staff over the past few days but it's impossible to get too in depth until after the draft and free agency.

- Reminder: Due to EA's roster limitations, I will keep all impending free agents on their rosters for now. Although the majority of UFAs are having their contracts void over the next week, I will not be releasing any of them until a couple days prior to the official free agency start date (likely March 14th). Several of them will be re-signing over the next couple weeks so it's easier to leave them on there for now. RFAs and ERFAs will also not be released until their contract situations are final since their negotiation process takes longer.

You would think after EA officially releases a statement that their tech teams would be able to maintain their part .....

But to nobody's shock.... this is bogus.

The Community Downloads still have massive server issues. Most of the time it takes 3-4 attempts before you can even access the Community Downloads let alone download or upload the item you're trying to manage.

If you 'sort' the menus by upload date, 100% of the time it won't even show you a true refreshed page, sometimes only showing items that were uploaded 3 days prior.

Hundreds of corrupt files, since September, are still there and of course broken, clogging up the menus and making it impossible for non-tech-savy users from being able to navigate the menus at ease.

This non-sense is something I've grown to despise and have become so numb about with EA. This is a broken product that has a feature members pay for that they can't even use as advertised. 'False Advertisement' is a legal term that gets used way too much sometimes, but this is legitimately an ongoing issue for over 2 years now. So sick of this company.

i just got new internet about 6 weeks ago and before that my net was so slow that i could not load up madden without disabled my network first then logging in and i could never get any file from madden share

To locate this roster, press Y in the Community Downloads and search my GamerTag - this will show you the most recently updated file. EA's servers still have old corrupt files floating around from the past that are unable to be downloaded

Misc. Roster Edits & Information:

* TE Ian Thomas had his contract extended to 3-years on the roster [Panthers]. This was made official back on Feb 25th.
* CB Siran Neal had his contract extended to 3-years also [Bills]. This was announced back on Feb 23rd.
* Additional tweaks were done to several depth charts as well as the current free agency group.
* REMINDER: my roster will have all impending Unrestricted Free Agents on their previous teams up until March 14th. I hold off on releasing free agents so quick to provide a playable roster as well as the fact several players begin to re-sign (Franchise Tags included) prior to the start of the 2022 NFL year. The legal tampering period begins on the 14th and that will be the day I release all UFAs into free agency. This will create several voids on the rosters and depth charts, HOWEVER it is also necessary for me in order to get signed free agents with multi-year contracts added without issue. I will make several announcements on Twitter and on here before I do this.

Just wanted to say thanks for a outstanding job on these, they are really well done.
