There goes the last two franchise updates. Now that Madden 22 will be on EA Play, there’s no reason to update the base game anymore [emoji37][emoji1304][emoji849]

Franchise mode is so glitchy/barebones don't even think it's worth playing for free considering the time you have to put into it.

If you are looking for a single player story mode, I found the first edition of Longshot (Madden 19) to be an appropriate level of cheese.

Face Of The Franchise is by far the worst part of Madden 22.

If you specifically want a Madden with a halfway decent story mode? Get Madden 18 with Longshot. Even Madden 19 with Longshot: Homecoming featuring Rob Schneider is miles better than M22 FoF.

I've never had issues with the game before it went to Gamepass, but it immediately started glitching out on me (Xbox Series S, offline franchise). Missing player models during cutscenes & stuff like that in offline franchise mode. Today, I can't even get into a game. Once the franchise game loads, it's immediately a black screen & then crash to dashboard.

I was halfway through season 3, and I had a really cool team build going. Now it's basically gone. I deleted the game & I'm currently reinstalling, but I'm not expecting much.

I have no idea if these two things are connected, but I never had a crashing issue before it went to Gamepass. No issues outside of the normal stuff, really. No clue why Gamepass would affect it, but it's the only thing they did since the last time I played. Pretty gutted, actually.

Yes , I haven't had that happen in quite a long time now.
