Crazy that Anfernee Simons only received a +1 to be an 81 overall. In the 10 games he played in February he averaged 23.7 PPG, 4.7 APG with 45% from the field and 39% from 3. Just in the last 8 games alone, he's averaging 26.2 PPG while shooting 46% from the field and 47% from 3. Not saying he should be a 90 or anything but I'd at least have him around an 83 or 84.

Simons' OVR is reflective of him having only having 4 badges. 2K is flushing money down the toilet with their roster team.

Hmmm I thought Randle deserved a bump, since he significantly played better since February...

Both of you knocked out of the park with these post. At this point it's BS. His Stamina is still 79!! How is that possible?!!!!! If anything I get not changing the badges (dunk contest winner). But stamina is the life blood for a player like him.

the whole roster update is a farce, really...

go check all those "newer" rotation players, guys like John Konchar, Dean Wade, Drew Eubanks, Javonte Green and others. They are completely worthless. 76 OVR but they are just bad players that look more like 71/72 rated players that are better suited as benchwarmers. But ingantibles and shot IQ are inflating their OVR rating so they look better. It's really annoying these days...

Exactly and they don't even really update any badges either which are more important.

There were badge updates for the following 8 players:

44 (+1) Ja Morant
34 (+14) Darius Garland
32 (-1) Mike Conley
21 (+4) Jalen Brunson
20 (+8) Tyrese Maxey
13 (+2) Jalen Green
10 (-1) Serge Ibaka
4 (+4) Herb Jones

While Morant is only a +1, he actually had 13 badge adjustments, so it's more detailed than that would indicate.
The problem is 2K largely can't/won't account for the vast size of the league. 7 players is 1.4% of NBA players.

It should be noted this was Ja's SECOND badge update of the season (as well as Maxey's).
While getting him right is one of the most important tasks the roster team should have, there are EIGHTEEN PLAYERS to receive a badge update this year - which is as many TEAMS that haven't gotten one yet.

Players like Anfernee Simons have been in the queue for MONTHS (if not years). The end of the regular season is only four weeks away. There are only two more roster updates (at best) in 2K22 for for half of the league's players.

At this time last year there were 187 players who had received badge updates (approx. 37% of the NBA)

It's the mathematical nail in the coffin for this roster team - they haven't just dropped the ball - they lost it at the bottom of the ocean. Time to move on to the next batch of aspiring spreadsheet wizards. The current crop is cooked.

Man Your roster is great compared to the out of the box roster.. so much players are misrepresented.

Thanks for this info. Really good insight. Is there anywhere we can see what badges exactly were updated? Like a detailed database of some sort?

I'm not sure if 2Kratings.com lists the badge changes.

I manually record them into my spreadsheet, but don't keep a full list of changes.

May i ask if it is possible for you to Share your spreadsheet? for our online League we need to manually type in the ovr ratings in our roster spreadsheet for every season. would be cool, if you would make it possible for us to access your sheet to Export the ratings from There.
