    EVERY infielder throw off

Is anyone else having this issue? I have throwing decision turned off so I should just have to hold the bottom in, but everyone throw is off line and pulls the player off the bat. EVERY ONE. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Is this a bug? Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure throwing meter is set to off in the settings instead of no feedback and that throwing interface is set to buttons.

I'm having the same issue. Throw meter is off, analog input but 3 to 4 times a game there are off line throws to first. Even on routine a grounder to 2nd and there will be a random offline throw to 1st. I remember this happening last year too until they patched it.

Meter off should mean it's off and not used but this year your still using it even on off. It describes it on the settings no way to turn it off unless you use buttons but I like analog.

I have the same problem with errors/throws off. It was there in tech test.

I am using analog throw and auto field. Are you saying the analog is broken?

I think its the same thing from last year. One, have you noticed throws to the cutoff man are offline a lot of the times. I think that is tied in. I don't think it matters if it is analog or button input, throws randomly go off offline during each game with throw meter off.

Yes throws to cutoff are offline alot. But this is first year the errors/offline throws in infield have been this bad.

I submitted a bug report on it so hopefully somebody can look into it.

                    EVERY infielder throw off

I use analog throwing and wrote an extensive breakdown on this last year.

There seems to be no real explanation as to why the throw is bad, as with analog throwing, there is no meter. Did I push to hard? Too easy? Was my throw to first errant because I didn’t hit the 3oclock position just perfectly? Does my better rated infielder have a larger wedge of error so that his Analog RStick pie wedge is a little larger than my rookie?

I played with the tech test for hours just fielding ground ball and throwing to first with Rafael Devers. I was unable to make 10 accurate throws in a row, and when the meter lit up brown or yellow or whatever that is, it didn’t let me know why.

Some year I’d like to see a feedback circle, as in Pinpoint pitching, or any of the golf games out there. Have the meter not be just a colored wedge of indifference, but show my input and why and how it was either good or bad.

My problem is I don't use a meter. The ratings control it and the throws are still off.

                        Re: EVERY infielder throw off

This is driving me crazy. I have infield throwing errors at zero and I am still getting at least 3 a game...not including the blown double plays that don't count as an error. If they did, I could easily have 5+ errors a game. This started in tech test and the same problem exists in the early release.

I play autofield and no meter. So it is purely based on ratings. The CPU is not making the same errors.

Yes, it appears that we have an issue, as the explanations on the different options for the Analog Fielding don’t make any sense.
Throwing Meter set to “On” makes sense. You see the Throwing chevrons and the meter is On.

No Feedback states that the Throwing meter is still functional, but no chevrons or feedback on-screen.

Throwing meter set to “Off” states that no visual chevrons, but the meter is still on….

Why would the Throwing meter still be on when you have it set to off?

It seems to me that “off” and “no feedback”, when used with Analog Throwing, are the same exact setting.

I’ll submit this in the Bugs and Glitches thread and see if we can get this straightened out.

Thanks...definitely something wrong with analog. Problem seems solved using buttons. So far no no throwing errors. I have the slider at zero to test with buttons.
