Anyone know what’s going on? I have a very specific story line I’m developing similar to an OKC situation. I have a couple players I drafted and I know what their potential is because I checked. At the end of every season their potential resets to their current overall and they don’t develop. What is going on does anyone know? I’m playing on ps5 if that helps.

For the record, if this can’t be fixed unless I buy nba2k22 that’s ok, I just really need a functional version of this development it’s practically the only thing I play is draft and my league scenarios. I can understand if this is a glitch/feature but I’m not seeing anything on how to solve this and 80 + hours into this save I’m feeling like I’ve just found out the game isn’t capable of character development -

I haven't played '21 in a while but this happens if a player isn't training/practicing enough to hit their growth OR if they are training/practicing too much and are burning out.
Potentials always update at the end of every year depending on progress. If someone hasn't hit their peak phase then their potential can still grow.
Also when you look at their potential, that's their average potential. If you go into edit player in the player information section (first section) it'll show you their max and minimum potential as well as their chance of being a bust or a boom or hitting their avg.Comment
